Man, First Generation was such a good group of people. Hits me in the feels seeing so many of you again. The Get Off My Lawn guild name is perfect. Nowadays, I feel like the old guy nobody recognizes telling exaggerated stories of Vanilla, and the kids playing today are like, “Yeah, yeah, sure you did all that stuff.” while rolling their eyes.
I hope to play Classic and maybe some Retail casually with my kiddos this time around, and hopefully I’ll bump into a few of the old Frostwolf crew (1g, STK, HoL, etc.). You guys and gals are awesome!
I’m really sad to hear about the accident, Kamisamabaka. I considered her a good friend way back when, but was in a bad relationship with a woman who decided I was too close to Sedative and specifically told me I couldn’t talk to her anymore. I read an article on Kotaku that mentioned this way to find people you played with in classic and specifically came to see if she was here (and other old friends too, of course, but honestly the only character I specifically had in mind as I came here was Sedative). I was excited at the possibility of finding her and catching up. Telling her about my tragedy of a first marriage, the true fairy tale love I’ve found in my second marriage, gushing over my amazing daughter, and learning everything that’s been going on with her in the last dozen or so years. I was mentally prepared for a worst case she isn’t here and the visit to this forum would be a brief curiosity. I wasn’t expecting to learn she was dead so young. I wish I still had some of the silly art she made in MS paint. I’d upload it for a little “in memory of” post.

Hey Soltari good to see you out there! Ya some of old gang will be getting back together for classic. A lot more casual with a focus on PVP. We’ll get through the PVE stuff more for PVP purposes.
We’ll be playing on one of the newer 2 Eastern PVP servers.
