I mean they did invest in more employees this expansion.
I don’t care how good quality it is… it a grown man (or woman) buying a sword… It’s clearly not for everyone.
Don’t ever underestimate the collector. They’ll buy anything if they’re a big enough fan.

Well If this takes off I guess they could just make swords at Blizzard and probably make more money then making games.
We all know the sword is just a cheap replica, after all every dk in game uses shards from it now.

You know after he was disenchanted by jailer, along with 20 years of love / lore built up around him. That level of pain and suffering has to be worth something?
Gonna be honest I did compare the two out of curiosity also and I would rather fork over money for the Blizzard sword, the one on Epic Swords most certainly not worth $349 USD, Probs about $100 at best.

I just bought a real sword within the last few months made to some of my specs for less than that.
Can vanquish my enemies and look good on the stand too!
Looool! And what exactly did you find in your “comparison” based off a hi res pic vs. a standard res pic to warrant paying $1,150.00 more for virtually the same sword made from the exact same metal and leather. The way some of the super fans try to defend this is comical.

It’s essentially $1700 as someone who has already spent the $1500 on the sword isn’t likely to skimp out and not get the “complete” bundle.

They can basically set whatever price they want, because they know collectors will pay it just for the peace of mind that it’s not a Chinese knockoff…which is essentially what that “epic swords” version you mentioned looks like.

Never said I’d be willing to pay $1500 for the Blizzard sword, just if it came to purchasing one, I’d be willing to buy the sword that looks better and not the one that looks like it’s made of cheap foam.

200.00 for a decorative sword is actually cheap, so cheap you might as well 3D print one yourself. Anything made of a huge hunk of metal (assuming it’s 1:1 scale, I never go to the gear store… Well except when they had a fox plush lol) is going to be made of the crappiest alloy.
To make that sword profitable it’d be a production price below 150… Hunk of crap that’s going to rust on your wall, a fitting tribute to what blizz did to arthas

I can guarantee you that’s a debate you don’t want to have.
