Frostmourne Replica seriously?

So, at $1500, that’s 75 tokens, right? And at approximate current US prices of about 230k gold a token, that works out to 17.25 million gold.

Once again I regret not being a gold farmer…

We both know all this money will just end up as another yatch for Ol’ Bobby.

I doubt a single penny would be invested back into the game.

Blizzard is out of touch and they are going to price themselves out of the market.

Look at Hearthstone. It started out as a free mobile game, and in just three years it’s become the most expensive mobile game with ingame purchases. It used to be pay to win, now it’s pay to play. $99 an expansion for a digital mobile card game with auto chess is unreal.

Swords are dumb.

For the price of a working batmobile (~1M USD) you could buy several midrange cars, or a couple fairly high end ones that are significantly more practical in every sense.

The point of the sword isn’t to have something to hit other people with. It’s to have an official Frostmourne you can hang on the wall.

I am so offended by this price point!! calls congressperson

For people who have that type of money to blow, it is nothing to them to blow it on a fake sword to hang on the wall. Personally, as much as it would be nice to have all the types of WoW stuff around my house because I love the game, at the end of the day it’s just junk that I can’t take with me when I die, and no one in my family would want.

i dont have any where to hang it, but i just thought that maybe the local Game Centre venue (Fortress game center) would accept my donation (?)

I imagine Goodwill will be filled with video game and TV memorabilia when our generation eventually passes.

I found The Art of Hearthstone, and The Art of Diablo at my local dollarstore for $5.00 each this last weekend. It was a total random score.

Finally, we know what Frostmourne was hungry for… money.

I’ve got it myself and we got it for less than that, I think you’re trippin bro. The Frostmourne replicas have been around for years, one’s hanging up in my living room rn.

that one is made with chip board, scotch tape and stick glue. it will turn green the moment moisture hits it.

Damn, on my server its 16,130,160 after taxes rounded off…(probably closer to 16,136,000)

Get a H.E.M.A membership (or similar organization) for much less money and get active in a sport, learn history and eventually pay for serious historical replica if one really enjoys it.

This sword from Blizzard is for fans who seriously have a lot of their self identity wrapped up in the Lich King mythos. If that’s the case then holding the “actual” sword would have to have quite an emotional kick to it. Just don’t try to actually hit anything with it. That alloy composition is designed to prevent rusting, not to give it super powers.

Nice to see you again miss like to say like~

Its a pretty sword, but i have no use for such dangerousness!

I still have the WOTLK art book and other collectibles I got from Blizzcon 08. You think they’re worth anything today? :open_mouth:

Sad part: people will buy it.

Premium product, premium price. Branded stores are notorious for over charging.

Its literally the same sword, Blizzard just has a fancy hi def image for you to see.

its like dollarama type product. a friend has one that he purchased. its not even real steel. its some cheap chinese metal. not worth $20 afaiac.
