They are basically reselling “old content” to make money.
I’ve got several real swords that all together cost considerably less.

the lined crocs tho, are pretty amazing. i was with ya on the crocs hate, and i got the lined ones cheap as i needed something warmer for winter, and the slippers i had were falling apart. im a believer in those now. i got them in tie-dye too, cuz i was like, if im gonna announce to the world ive given up on life by wearing crocs, i might as well go all out!
as for the sword, it looks pretty amazing, really detailed, more detailed than the cheaper one linked earlier. it’s still just a wall hanger tho, so if im spending $1500+ on a sword, its gonna be a real katana from Japan… but i dont buy those, i get the fully functional ones made in china by a dude with a power hammer and a cigg hanging out of his mouth. but its still good steel and made pretty well. Sword-Buyers-Guide has a shop, doesnt deal in wall hangers, and really good prices.
at 2k you can get a highly specialized steel sword which can be used, looks better and is custom made by a local smith for you.
I don’t think people are buying it for the practicality.
