Im not quite sure why blizzard is ignoring this hero talent and has continued to ignore its poor single target since beta. Blizzard please buff Frostfire frost. Its theme is so cool, visually appealing and it actually has an interesting rotation then ice lance spam. You told us you didn’t want ppl to have to tunnel to certain hero talents but you are failing to bring lagging hero talents to even a close margin to others. Arcane sunfury is still far above the rest, it looks like you are starting to look into spellslinger arcane/ frost in 11.0.5… and yet there is nothing still about frostfire. Please stop ignoring it.

Agreed. It needs meteor and other spells on the mastery, as well as more buffs similar to what’s coming on Tuesday.
Keep posting about it like this and they’ll see it. Part of the problem right now is the visibility of the issue. Lots of mages playing arcane and the rest on spellslinger so they’re not hearing about FF’s issues

TBH, if Blizz knew what they were doing, they would see the lack of Frostfire Frost mages as a red flag and realize something is wrong. Sadly this current Dev team is still the same old team that is lead by a guy who loves min/max culture.

This! It’s my favorite spec but the lack of attention that it’s gotten has really become frustrating.

I’m actually getting really bummed about this. I didn’t think I have ever seen an actual buff to Frostfire. Even in beta we were all calling for a single target buff and nothing. Not to mention another spellslinger nerf. I’d like to reliably interchange between sunfury and something else so I don’t get bored but damn. Even my sims every mage spec is like a 300-200k below sunfury for me.

The reasoning could have something to do with frostfire being incredibly strong in pvp so they are having trouble balancing around its top tier performance there and its incredibly low performance in ST. this is evidenced by them buffing glacial and ray. ray is sometimes taken for pvp arena (this is because it doesnt break CC like our other abilities). they need to keep increasing Glacial as well as empowering frostfire casts in some manner. perhaps casing non instant frostfire casts automatically give a free flurry or something
But they have shown time and time again they can tweak numbers for strictly PVE or PvP without effecting the other.

They certainly can do it but they’ve been incredibly inconsistent with those types of changes in the past. Especially with the inclusion of PvP talents most of which were first PvE talents that were taken away without any compensation.
in most cases yes. but that doesn’t mean its not a complicated issue that might take several passes to get right
It’s been since beta and they haven’t even given us any sort of number tuning towards frost Frostfire single target.
This isn’t an excuse any more. They can tune pvp and pve seperately
I also want a Frostfire buff. It’s such a cool spec! I’m stuck with Arcane Sunfury for now - at least in T8 delves…
The single target for this spec is seriously lacking. Im still playing it in raid though, but it definitely needs fixing. Bugs, Hero talent tree needs work, and all around biffs that will help the spec in general. All of this can be done without affecting pvp. Blizz knows this and still has does nothing and this has been a issue since beta of TWW.
I’m dying to play FF Frost for content, but it’s just horrible. Come on Bliz, hear our plight (it’s been ongoing since PTR)
