IT’S HERE BOYS. Shadowlands S1 is underway, and it’s absolutely ridiculous as most first seasons tend to be. Absurd burst, crazy mechanics, new one shots, wild setups, etc. Therefore I’ve been getting quite a few questions on how to perfectly set up your DK to join in on the fun, especially with the new borrowed power systems Shadowlands has introduced.
So, here is your one stop shop for DK PVP info: Covenants, soulbinds, conduits, legendaries, new runeforges, itemization, stat weights, abilities, talents, pvp talents…everything! Every one of these decisions is very impactful in DK Arena, 2s, 3s, and even RBGs so it should make you feel stronger with every additional choice.
Managed to push top 100 for a bit with some IRL friends of mine, we’ll be pushing again soon. That glad mount is absolutely sick and we’ve got a bunch of wins for it under our belt, I hope this helps you get the same. I want all DKs to acquire the most beautiful mount ever made.

gotta pop as many defensives as they pop offensives. it’s an absurdly fast season, so “overlapping” becomes preferred rather than a standard problem. things are all tied into cds rn tho, so if you live through it, even if you popped almost everything, you can live for a while.

Is it worth it to jump covenants? I heard there are “catch up” quests. Slappy hand is doing soo much damage on the logs.

Swapped Kyrian to Necro couple weeks ago and you can recap renown within a few days. Glad I did too cuz Abom Limb is too much fun

I jumped covs, from Kyrian to Necro, but there will be a bug preventing you from furthering your renown unless blizzard fixes it since Kyrian and Necro share a chapter in their campaign, be aware this won’t really affect you since its minor.
But be warned.
I have the feeling it’s the quest I just did. Were there catch up quests or was that a lie I was told?
What is your renown? What WAS your renown when you swapped? There is no lie, you getting renown from random things, BG wins, callings, I got one when i killed the world boss. They exist its just like an RNG proc or something.
I’m 12 now. Probably switching tonight. I see now it’s an earlier quest (around 3-5 renown) where draka is phased. It says that the Dec 15 hotfixes were supposed to address this. Not sure if it is still happening.
