Last time I checked the ice barrier didn’t absorb a ton?
Did I miss a buff or has it always been that strong.
Azerite Trait makes it absorb like 10k more per trait.
pretty sure its not affected by dampening either, unless that was fixed
all mage barriers are actually insane
fire’s 25 second cooldown is literally between 50-80k lmao.

Ice barrier has the highest absorb of the 3 specs.

412 ilvl and it absorbs 47k in the world, less while affected by dampening
when was the last time your 1700 rmpala took anything to dampening dude what kind of response even is this

Mage barriers scale with hp (~23% iirc) instead of sp now, and with stam outscaling sp on azerite gear this patch that’s why it feels off

It was cut way down in pvp, it only absorbs 3k~ more now. The biggest problem is ice barrier no longer scales with intellect since Legion. It scales with versatility and most mages are running versatile III.

Mage barrier has scaled with Versatility for awhile now.
