So I just started doing PVP as Frost mage. I suck. I was told in-game to ask about a solid rotation. So I figured Icy Veins would be the goto for that.
Everyone is telling me to “ask an r1 mage” for a solid rotation. Where can I find an “r1 mage” that would be willing to help me out? … I want to get better and learn but some advice may help me along here.

Frost Mage rotation is legit Frostbolt to fish for Flurry procs and ice lancing. Your armory doesn’t work for me, but you should be Necro as well.
Can ask Venruki more stuff on his stream or Featherfeet if he’s streaming. Feather will most likely respond to any questions you have here as well.
He isn’t kidding frost doesn’t have a PVP rotation. I think the only non passive talent you run is comet storm anyway and ice flows
Its more about positioning, not over-pushing and making yourself easily punished. Just deathborne/IV and frostbolt the world and use any procs up. You wanna stack your deathborne bonus as high as possible via casting frostbolts, hit any pets in open if they LOS you too.
Triangle formation pinch them on pillar between you and your warlock on other side.
It really is the most degenerate form of frost mage to date. Actually spamming frostbolt like it’s classic vs Ragnaros.
We begged for frostbolt damage and the monkeys paw curled.
I mean, I guess there’s an argument that we’ve been spamming frostbolts for a few expansion now. It just wasn’t doing damage. Just padding.
It’s actually similar to what happened to destro in MoP. Cata destro people cried for the entire expansion that chaos bolt was too weak, never crit, did 20k damage on 130k health. Had a cooldown etc.
So in mop they made destro into a bolt spammer. Which wasn’t a huge change tbf from being a bolt pusher.
The paw hardly ever gives what we truly want.
Frost bolt damage is fine the conduits tier and deathborne lord are not.
Right now it’s like frostmage is playing in next expansion if you ever fight them with cds up
