Given the bugs and balance issues so far in the game someone there is definitely eating the paste.

just put it on some invisible walls. other places have shown they like invisible walls. that way the ziggurat can still look to be floating, but it cound as having a floor instead of being a weird detached elevator that causes pathing issues 
While I’ve noticed that some of my fragment spams have been lower damage then others, if you drop your blizzard on anything but open space you’ll see this. I keep my casts away from walls or objects and I’ll get more consistent damage. This is just an anecdote ymmv. as for blink issues… never noticed.
