Haunting shadows just… Get out of the range
If two of those affixes happen at once, then plan your exit area, do not just blindly get out of the way because haunting shadows, make sure the opening is free

You have done nothing to change the minds of people who think the content is trash that shows a lack of respect for the intelligence of paying customers.
No. He is just reminding people that the content is very doable if you put a little bit effort in. I like his post and how it triggers people to keep calling the game trash yet here they are still posting and logging in.
None of these things are difficult until they are.
This combo isn’t as bad as it used to be, it used to always come together and in Stormwind it is especially easy to get locked into the split personalty by the tight terrain. And it’s almost a certainty that the exit side will be blocked by one of the billion other “run out of the circle” mechanics that seem to be the entire combat loop now. There’s usually so much crap on the ground the challenge is finding the exit visually.
Also there’s quite a few mobs that can knock or throw you into it and trigger a cascading stun lock of effects that make it like you’re fighting a rouge in vanilla.
But like I said none of these things are particularly hard until they are. I can usually do 4 masks with only 1 orb, none if I want to really risk it. But sometimes a weird combination of things can happen and just end a run.
That is completely irrelevant. People who like the content find it easily doable because they have low standards and are easily satisfied. People who despise it know that Clark is in love with it and don’t need reminding over and over and over again. The fact that he has posted dozens of these self-righteous threads puts you in the same bucket as him.

I can tolerate one a week. more than that makes me want to gouge my eyes out with a spork.
it’s funny, how the same thing over and over, when ti’s a m+ dungeon, is fun, but a solo vision (or even a not solo one. I do them often with friends) is just boring as heck, and I hate doing it to the point that my alts (except one) sit on a max rank 8 cloak and generally just don’t get played.
to top it off, to do the visions which I find exponentially boring, you have to do invasions - which are, you guessed it… boring. But you have to do them on each character you want to play on.
visions - and the requirements for doing them - are a fail, in my opinion. a big, fat, giagantic boring failure.

I still dislike Visions.
Sitting around waiting for split personalty to drop because it’s blocked your path in the mage quarter or waiting for the scorched feet lava to drop because it seems to always go off right in a doorway when you searching shards, really pushes this from tedious to infuriating for me.
So that’s where all those eyes are coming from…
But yeah I agree. As someone with many alts, all needing gouged eyes, these are just getting tedious.
My big annoyance is that split personality always seems to come right when my gift of the titans procs and I want to sprint towards the next group of mobs. Also, it ALWAYS comes up when I run into a building/hut for a crystal…
It’s not hard it’s just annoying.
