This is what makes the combo suck for me. On their own they’re manageable, but the slightest bit of entropy can quickly turn them disastrous.

Any affix not named leaden foot is easy. Split personality isn’t a problem until you get knocked back into it, and then you are stunned over your burned bridge, and a couple of boars drain your sanity in 2 seconds. That’s about how quickly the visions drain my sanity in real life. Which is why I stopped doing anything more than the a once-per-week run with no masks.

I will say this:

  • I don’t mind split personality now that I can actually SEE it. My old computer didn’t even show the purple haze effect and that was unbelievably annoying. It was impossible to avoid and I’d get disoriented dozens of times every run - and split was active for like 5 weeks in a row - and gave up trying to 5 mask forever.

In fact it was so annoying that I still hate visions and will never recover. I’d suggest Bliz stop doing “new alert” mechanics that don’t work on all systems. It’s a bad idea that ruins content. I will always hate visions and feel it was even worse than island expeditions - I’d rather they force me to run those 4 times a week forever than do visions.

Just because you did something, doesn’t mean it’s not difficult. I did a 5 mask run this week. And I find this combo of affixes to be the most difficult.

None of the Visions are difficult. They’re just annoying as hell. Nobody can convince me otherwise that the individuals that came up with Visions set out specifically to irritate the player base as much as possible.
