Friendly reminder guys, qing arena while travelling will get you 18 month banned

Ah, that explains the long time wait. Good Luck!

Really hope you get your account back and unlocked. This seems like a really poorly designed security feature.

Hey there sir

You and Doors left that BG a few minutes ago, was in there on my human Ret. Was cool to see familiar faces anyway.

Take care.

Glad to hear you got your account unlocked and unbelievably sad and pathetic to see Bloomsday trolling someone while they’re dealing with such BS. It’s one thing to mess around on the forums to pass the time and another to try and pile frustration on top of an already difficult situation. Dude needs perma’d.

Yeah it’s even more “cringe” on the CS forum with the whole “assume your guilty wag the finger” type escalatory posts that tend to happen as certain folks have their fun or hone their trust scores or whatever. (And don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of genuine folks who are objective and willing to hear people out, but there’s some “don’t be that guy” types haha.)

It’s just great to see you exonerated or whatever you would call it.

I wonder if any individual poster is on more people’s ignore list than that guy. I recall a couple threads that have been created for the sole purpose of showing others how to place him on the ignore list.

When many people have the same person/account on ignore, that seems like a strong indication that their posts are largely unhelpful and have a negative impact on the community. Perhaps limiting or revoking their posting ability would be warranted in such a situation. At the very least, it seems that a sticky/pinned thread illustrating how to use the “ignore” feature would be beneficial to the Arena forums.

Unfort, Blizzard doesn’t dedicate that much resources/effort into the forums or CS in general so. Doubt it’s going to be a priority.

Zero context type moderation is bad for the community.

I travel all the time and the only thing I have ever had to do was authenticate my account once.

Fantastic news.

Unfortunately the current team only looks at stuff in a vacuum, so everything always appears innocent as posting habits aren’t taken into account.

idk if this helps anyone, but i play with a VPN all the time and sometimes without, im in a oceanic country, i connect to japan and california, never had an issue

Hope you let their team have it for that. Pretty unacceptable IMO.
