by midway of the tier mythic pugging in lfg isnt uncommon afaik. like bfa s4 had a lot of very regular people clearing mythic bosses

Hardcore PvErs, players who pull 600+ attempts on Mythic Nzoth, venture into OG to see “Gladiator” PvP players on their Mythic Nzoth mount because they trivalized the content after it was no longer relavent.
That same hardcord PvEr does not get to do the same to PvPers.
Feelsbadman. Wish there was something we could do to change that. 
I think something like almost 10% of active players during 8.3 had CE N’zoth so maybe this isn’t a good example either.

i was a pver for years before i pvped much at all
i was in blood legion US 1st / world 2nd at the time couldn’t get any more PvE-only-player
i really didn’t like doing pvp content at the time at all outside of random bgs
i never once felt like i should be able to earn old gladiator mounts or sets because “lol fair they can go do old raid!!!”
if anything i feel the opposite, mythic titles / skins / mounts should be more exclusive and that should be your reward for finishing a tier current content
mythic raiding is probably the least rewarding thing you can do in the game and the concept of permanence and exclusivity that comes with pvp rewards are part of the attraction

Again, I agree.
But the original poster was basically saying.
“Hey, I can go back and trivialize old content for old mythic mounts and xmog, why can’t I do that for PvP?”
I don’t see what’s wrong with that, he has a valid point. People are just here screaming about how their pixels should be exclusive because it was “Hard” to get. And “hard is relative” to the player.
Getting cutting edge is hard to some, while getting glad is easier to others.
Yeah, that’s right. It’s a shame that PvE doesn’t get as many cool things as PvP but the answer is to add more stuff for PvE, not take away what PvP has and bring it down to where PvE is.
Kind of like what they recently did with the addition of the affix hero title for top 0.1% keystone players.

Exactly my point, which is what he is trying to illustrate. The PvE reward system is dumb, and not on the same level as PvP.
He wishes he could go back and easily achieve elite PvP mog, be it a bit easier, and that’s nothing to call the guy out for.
This isn’t his fault and OP is making it out like he’s the bad guy, I’m just trying to defend him in saying on some level, he has a good point. =/

actually that is exactly something to call the guy out for
his system being designed badly doesn’t justify him demanding our system be designed poorly
he should be asking that mythic recolors / titles be made exclusive
but he won’t because he probably doesn’t even raid CE and his post was probably exclusively asking for things he doesn’t deserve

Well, that’s tricky, because for PvE, the damage is already done, right?
You can’t really strip all Accounts of Invincible for players who got it after ICC ended, so for him, logically the next best thing is to reintroduce old Glad Mounts, so that he could get old PvP gear the way PvPers can get old PvE gear.
It’s from a PvE player’s perspective.
I 100% agree with Kennie, I think it was really well put.
All I’m saying is, “I get where he’s coming from.”
And I think we all do, but it just seems the responses are so venomous. =/

I can get Mythic mogs from past expansions. I’m okay with not getting PvP cosmetics rewards when it’s current, but that’s not possible as most of them are time limited.
I don’t think that’s an unreasonable argument or super hot take, from a casual or PvEr’s perspective.
I agree it’s dangerous, but again, gotta put yourself in their shoes. =/
