Eh, we basically just have an unphased SoD. It turns out the devs are all just parse logging types too that don’t understand why classic is beloved. So they’re in the process of just ruining the game over time because tourists demand it.
At least there’s private servers still where you can actually play classic. This will just be a fun novelty like SoD.
They should just add a raid finder and a dungeon finder at this point. There’s no reason not to.

It´s not even coming at the start, but at some later time.
For all what it´s worth it may not come before AQ patch or the PVP system, when people are already 60.
Dual spec in my opinion would be handy while leveling up, so that you can quest in DPS spec, while you heal or tank in dungeons.
I think it is funny that the OP does not care about the debuff limit which goes away from day 1, despite it having a huge impact on the difficulty of the game, but dual spec which does not change anything is a big deal?

The thing is it will cost 50g+, so it wouldn’t even be a thing while leveling either way.

I dont know the math on how much it changes the game… however it is really dumb that certain items and entire classes arent eligible to be played because of debuff limit.
Buff limit is also SO DUMB on classes like warriors which have 4-5 hidden buffs and a ton that come up… pushing you over the cap with ease and cancel macroing class buffs and rejuvs and such.

I am currently coping by hoping it is a very restrictive form of dual spec (i.e. you have to go to the trainer each time to switch specs) if that is all it is then I can live with it.

I’m a huge fan of dual-spec in and of itself but even I think unrestrained dual spec would be a step too far. I leaned a bit more towards just reducing the cost of respeccing if anything was going to be done. Leave as it was, change it to whatever. Either way I’ll still be there day 1.
