I would love to see this. Please do this blizzard. And please announce it as well ahead of time. I am seeing large interest in this and I myself would love this. And no level boosts either.

You do not have to join it if you don’t want to. I don’t see how a fresh server hurts you in any way.

Transfers would completely void one of the large reasons for a New Server. They would have to close transfers for a long time or make them heavily restrictive once opened.
Classic knowledge was heavily abused and turned it into a whole different beast.

i see a lot of interest but realistically a fresh server will be horde dominated, so anyone who wants to be alliance will be quickly run out. Then you will have the people who will be disillusioned by the reality that the fresh server will end up like any other server and will choose to transfer off. Eventually it will become a server like any other, except that no one can transfer to it. People will just leave slowly until it becomes a backwater server.
… and without an option to transfer out of them as well.

I’d be down for a fresh start server. It’s a fair compromise for the people who aren’t interested in boosts
Kinda hard to sympathize with people though, as it seems like the overwhelming majority of anti-boosters are violently anti-booster. And no one wants to agree with someone being an ahole about it

In all seriousness though, fresh server w/ boost, no xfer is appealing! 
Those that use boost in pre-patch will be bored and likely go back to their classic characters, so it’ll be like no boosted characters were even around!

The issue is “you think you do, but you don’t” in this case is telling us that we think we want this fresh server. Then we wont and we all will leave.
But, but, but we thought we wanted Classic, but we didn’t? I think that wasn’t true the first time, I really doubt it’ll be true the second time around…
Honestly, fresh servers are very exciting if you’ve never played on one, I guess you might have had to play on one to know the appeal? It’s like…when classic released and it was super exciting? I mean, I remember that (and also from other freshness).
It was way more fun when everyone was a noob then it has been at max level, at least it’ll be a bit longer before everyone caps out and gets bored 
The opportunity to make relationships was way easier than in overly-established communities.

You really don’t but as I said there’s no reason to not have one. It will fail and collapse eventually for sure or be dominated by pserver heroes

They shouldn’t have transfers either way for the entirety of the servers life.
agree, they should do 1 fresh start server for PVP & 1 for PVE, no transferring in & no transferring out; many private servers had thriving communities even when wow was running strong. So if they restrict it to just 1 per type of server; it will help weed out those people that are the cause of the crappy state classic wow is currently in, since it takes tons of people that hate the journey to max lvl that create the require demand for all those boosting issues.

i think itll be one of the most popular. Private Servers have shown us people, at least a certain percentage, love the excitement of a new server.
