Fresh Servers Force Equal

Please force equal % horde to alliance.

Once it hits that % on one side. No more new accounts.
Only existing can make alliance or horde based on population

Yeah, that would never work lol

FF14 does this with server cap. Blizzard could easily implement something similar.

I havent played much ff14, but correct me if im wrong, there arent factions.

The core issue is factions with zero cross play, and imbalanced racials

Factions could be set at a cap limit just like server population. If the server if faction locked it could be traced and counted by accounts. Its completely doable and would relieve the need for layering as well.

Wouldnt really work at all, but it wont happen so i suppose it doesnt matter

The problem is that you’re excluding people who want to play fresh from playing. And pretty sure Blizzard would care more about inclusivity than taking time to balance your factions. Get real dude.

It already does work. Mmorpgs do this, just not wow for some reason. Probably because itd cost money to monitor. Same reason there are no GMs anymore.

Its impossible to compare to games that dont have factions with zero cross play.

Alright, so.

I’m going to make 15 Alliance toons on the fresh server. I’ll get them to level 5 and then abandon them, never playing that server again, but keeping my subscription active.

Or maybe I will, one day, come back and play some of them through to level cap. Who knows?

How do you “force” faction balance? Please give it some actual thought. I’m begging you.

By making the dominant faction sit in a log in queue. It won’t matter how many accounts there are, only how many are actually logged into the server.

So you’ll have swathes of people logging on and using unscrupulous means to be kept online until they’re ready to play.

Reports and periodic server restarts will keep this to a minimum.

That’s some extreme optimism.

Edit: This company took a year and a half to do anything about world buff meta. Never did anything about the state of the Classic PvP system. Well over two years to do anything at all about boosting. Still has not touched the hundreds of gibberish rogues in Ramps.

And you expect them to magically enforce faction limits, actively?

You’re confusing enforcement being possible with having the will to do so. Other games do it, so it can be done. The problem is Blizzard is stubborn and doesn’t want to do so.

if you want a solo game go play a solo game.

seriously… NONE OF YOU… give a flat single #$%# about anyone but yourself… you have no idea the ramifications of some of the insanely dumb ideas you spew out of your mouth. as long as YOU get what YOU want. you couldnt care less about anyone elses experience.

I HOPE… SO MUCH… that no one at blizzard actually reads this cess pool of a forum and only post updates on here for you all to argue over.

This is a 2-faction game that doesn’t function correctly if only 1 faction is played. I want what is best for the game. Balanced servers are best for the game. Just look at all the changes being made to Wintergrasp because the old version would literally only work on ONE North American server.

This ship sailed long ago. Blizzard didn’t do ANY restrictions on original realms and it wouldn’t be fair to us, players that invested years of work into them, for fancy new realms to now have those things. Unless we’re getting transfers to the realms, you can forget it. These realms shouldn’t even be getting made. There’s no good reason for them to exist when the game already has too many realms… hence why a big row of them are being closed.

players should be randomly force-faction-transfered to maintain the 50%.

? So I login one day and all of a sudden my raid leader is on a different faction / realm. Lol. I don’t think so.
