Yep anytime I complete a quest and turn it in it freezes slightly and then jolts be a 1/2 second ahead.

I’ll try reinstalling too but i’m not that confident it will work, its really strange if it affects another game somehow
Getting LESS freezes since the fix, but it’s not gone and it’s not unnoticeable. Quests still freeze, but I’ve been able to do entire PvP matches with little to no freezing. Seems like you’re on the right track with these fixes.
Still happening here after maintenance.

Happened to me every time I competed a world quest since the patch. Glad I’m not the only one.

I’m facing the same issue, and it didnt stop even after the maintenance. C’mon Blizz, it’s freaking annoying.

Still happening to me as well. Maintenance didn’t fix it, I’ve also tried disabling all add-ons; to no effect.

Just did a game scan and repair per player suggestion. Didn’t fix it. All my files are good, thanks for the advice though.

Been searching for days for a fix. Tried lowering graphics setting, nothing. I have noticed that when the frezze happens my fps goes down to like 8. It’s only when I click complete quest. I haven’t found a zone it dosent happen in but I’m early level.
Follow up post maintenance -
Issue still seems to be ongoing. Like the poster above, I noticed that when this is happening my FPS is just dropping dramatically. Still happening when i do something that updates a quest, like opening a mechanized chest in mechagon or when killing a rare.
however, I ran a timewalking dungeon and didn’t have any issue at all, so this seems to be confined to the world server, not instances.
Throwing my name in the lag hat as well. this is still happening. I event moved my wow installation to a better/newer/faster harddrive and it still does it. mostly just annoying but with this many people reporting it, why hasn’t a blue stopped by to ensure us that everything is going to be alright? 
Throwing my name in now that two days have passed since the original update. I thought maybe the maintenance might be addressing it but seems I was wrong. Still having the same freezing after completing of quests. Maybe soon we will hear from the Blue.
It would be very lovely to hear from someone regarding this issue, honestly. It’s not game breaking but it’s quite annoying and for some PCs It may well cause normal crashes. Please Blizzard, get back to us.
