Hi all,

I created a US free trial account for posting here from the EU. Now I’ve 2 questions:

  • Would it be possible to buy a WoW-Token in an ah “over there” and use it for playtime “here”? (Just in case, the warlock really looks like equipped out of a dust bin :wink: )

  • Will the forum trust level improve over times, even though it’s a free trial?

Information about tokens:

About forum posting, you need game time to post on all of the forums. A trial will allow you to post in support channels only. If you get game time then posting on the forums helps you gain forum levels and all channels should be available to you.

Thanks, that’s the same article wo have “over here”. I read somewhere else that you cannot buy EU-time with US-gaming cards, so I asked. I’m just a bit reluctant of dumping gold in a token without being sure that I can use it on the US-account. At the moment it’s just hypothetical, anyway.

Ref. the forums: I can (and did) post in GD here, so maybe the “game time” for posting on the forums is accountwide? My EU-account is a 6-month-sub.

  • You cannot purchase Tokens if your World of Warcraft region doesn’t match the country listed on your Battle.net Account. For example, you cannot purchase a Token on a WoW account in the NA (Americas) region if your Battle.net Account is registered to an EU country.

That would be relevant to you then.

Unfortunately, no. The games, EU and NA are separate.

As for trust levels, those do improve with time.
