Why are the only free server transfers from Eranikus (formerly ~50/50 pop PVP server) to “PVP” servers that are almost 100% either faction? Why even have them as PVP servers if there is almost no chance of PVP? Why are the server transfers to actual PVP servers like Grobbulus not an option? It’s like Blizzard is forcing us to play on PvE servers even though they state PvP. Sad days for PVPers that don’t want to be outnumbered 20000 to 1. I mean, don;t get me wrong, I like PVP, but at least make it close to a fair fight…

Because Grobbulus is an RP PvP server, not a PvP. As for PvP realms. There are none of those left.
The player base as a whole decided having people to play with in various ways was more important than a balanced realm, and that if they want to PvP they can do it in BGs and Arena.
So, if you really wanted a balanced realm you’d have to convince Blizzard to force us all onto a single realm with no escape.

I think it’s best that Blizzard did it this way because having a few thousand horde transfer to Grobbulus wouldn’t have been good for the server. You say you are concerned about balance so you should be able to see what I mean (that’s not even getting into the RP server part which is important too)
If you want fun Classic WPVP, Era is a good place to roll an alt. There is a constant war going on in Whitemane Era and a good balance. It’s crazy like P2 Classic. You can still play Wrath too.
You also can pay to transfer to Grobbulus if you really want that. People who never learned to be anything but rude to others can’t stop that.

They won’t want to flood an RP server where only 0.05% of the population RPs aka Grobb, aka they don’t want us to have fun.

This comment probably answers your question quite well. You don’t like PvP servers, you like controlled environments for pvp, something like opt-in PvP, which is pretty much exactly what a Normal server offers.
Small servers only worked in vanilla where the population needed to herb to stack 6 or so alchemy buffs and others depending on how easy you wanted the game. Because we cannot rely on people being online farming for their raids we need megaservers. Also the flask made having several potions not the meta.
50/50 server? eranikus? eranikus has never been 50/50, the closest it has ever been is 59/41 and that was in november of 2022. the playerbase for the most part (other than grobb) do not want 50/50 realms, that’s why there aren’t any. The reason they won’t let you transfer to grobb is because u have over 4000 horde and only a bit over 100 alliance, you would destroy the only server left

Grobbulus is kinda weird sometimes if you’re from a big 1 faction server. People like to gank in caverns of time and the spider hole place, so people go in together to take the summoning stone or wipe out the gankers instead of waiting for the stragglers to rez 3 times. Today’s daily was AN, 4 of us flew to stone but a horde group was there camping. We lost the fight but killed enough of them to get into the dungeon with only 1 rez.
Once we’re inside the leader tells our lock to drop a summoning stone to summon the 5th, a dk who was still in dalaran. Leader summoned the dk, then kicked the dk, and invited another dk, and we had to wait a whole minute before the dk got ported outside, before we could summon the new dk LOL.
At first the lock was confused like why did you kick the 5k gs dk for a 4800 dk? Leader says he waste my time I waste his.
Mind, at this point it seems they have entirely given up on balance. Players have proven again and again they don’t care for balance.
As a Grobbmobber, I do HIGHLY appreciate their restraint THIS time with free transfers. You may not know, it has already happened twice. It is hardly an RP server NOW, because of these transfers. People with crude, awful names. People who make a joke of RP and go so far as to fill TRP with lewd nonsense. People that absolutely are not worthy of Grobb. But, their servers died too. Some by their own hands.
See, Sulfuras is another good example. The Bene queues and free moves pointed at Sulfuras and somewhat rebuilt it, but the players just could not keep it together. Horde on that server did just what they had done in vanilla…drove the alliance off the server. After all these years still nobody gets it. All you do when you bully off the other faction is create a stale, half collapsed world that doesn’t function. Zone objectives you now need your own flippers to complete. An economy that tanks and gets monopolized. The entire server mood feels off. So then the single faction starts to bail out too, this world isn’t right…
Excepting, of course, the megaservers. Which it seems the blues no longer have the ambition to fight against that wave. Good job, players. You got what you wanted.
