While I’m cool with that thread of mine being included, I do want to reiterate that where i differ from the OP on this subject. I actually really love the set in general. It’s just the mask that I think needs addressing.
Please note the top/chest piece on the woman is NOT the top in the female heritage set, that is the troll’s standard bra. The set’s top/chest piece is significantly different.
However, in my opinion, the troll’s standard bra is better looking with the set than the actual top and that is what I would use if I were to make a female troll and use the set.
To me the masks they put - all of them are unacceptable. One looks ridiculous, and other 2 are unusable.
and the belt annoys me a lot. How come they could’ve create a good belt that sits well on the troll with Blood hunter set, but couldn’t for troll heritage set where it clips halfway through male’s leg?!
I’d also add that the questline was underwhelming. Darkspears deserved so much more considering how much screwed over they were.

Without a doubt and these are just the glaringly obvious issues. The degree to which they this set way tossed aside is really flippin sad.

Just look at that thing from the side, the mask looks kinda intimidating from the front but then when they turn to the side it’s like WTH? Why does it stick out and up so dang far!? So many parts of this set are so boring and like OP said you can tell just by the mask and belt it clearly wasn’t made on a Troll model or retrofitted for Trolls.

#Free The Nose! They straight up handed the Trolls a poop covered stick both on the armor set and the quest chain, mind boggling that they considered this passable, feels like it wasn’t even done.

The unfinished set theory makes a lot of sense, the quest chain was also very short and left out what I would consider key points. It does seem like maybe the released both the armor and the quests before they were done.

It really does, like they forgot to add skulls to the back piece, 3d textures to the boots and gloves, forgot to fit the set to the troll model, and didn’t touch up the mask, it really does seem unfinished.

They can hurt our feelings but the Darkspear never die. Except for Vol’jin apparently who for whatever reason they’re deciding not to bring back or talk about ever again.

Truly tragic, everyone’s been saying are the Night elves ever gonna catch a break? and don’t get me wrong they had a bad run for a while but the Trolls are still having theirs
