Seriously. I have played a draenei since TBC launched way back in ye olden times. I love the race, I loved all the jokes (even the one that seems to have gotten removed), and just like that the Alliance finally got a big beefy race.
Setting aside that the LF draenei were a copout of an allied race and should’ve just been new cosmetic options let’s talk about the topic at hand.

As a Haitian Woman I am very disappointed by the apparently lack of effort that went into the armor set design for the most culture rich race in this game. Lets talk brass tax here, Blizz. Do you feel as though you aren’t being compensated fairly enough to make good heritage sets any more? If that’s how you feel we can have that conversation. I’m willing to personally start a fund raiser to compensate your employees for their efforts to get this set sorted out.

Having now seen the movement animations of the troll heritage mask, I will no longer suggest it is not that bad. It is so bad! Trolls have tusks, and they’ve stuck a trunk on their face! It’s absurd!

Please change it, blizz. Just make it a simple cloth that sits around the mouth, under the nose. The nose is such a prominent feature for trolls. Hiding it would be like hiding an elf’s ears.

As per the title of this post, it is my firm belief that The Two extra cosmetic masks rewarded for the Troll Heritage armour quest should be 300-500% bigger when worn by Trolls.
Trolls in WoW are known to use humongous masks which include as pets, decoration, as worn by Shadow Hunters in WC3 and other troll concept art. However, until even recently, there are no usable Rus Kah Masks available to Troll Players that would fit the majestic huge size of the wooden masks often depicted in any Troll …
Besides the other obvious failures (im looking at you trunk mask and wod decor masks) another huge dissapointment was the weapon.
I get non troll players thinking its cool but if u are an actual fan of troll lore and troll culture a two handed sword just makes u got huh? Its the most untroll weapon i dont think ive seen one major troll character fight with a two handed sword.
Theres voljins warglaive, voodoo staffs, axes and bows.
Since blizz is weird about giving warglaives to other races rh…
Thank you for standing with us! The set really is shamefully bad, worst part it is probably did get the back burner because of all the new content they’re working on. I seriously hope they fix it because as it is right now it’s just embarrassingly bad.

I’m sure it’s really unfortunate, but I gotta warn you, you’re shouting into the void on this one. They’re not going to go back and fix things. They might give Trolls some consolation prizes, but they are not going to fix this set.
The Worgen set has been in the game since 2019. 5 years and they have not fixed it, just gave a transmog in 2024 to make up for it that uses the same weirdly valued colors. If Trolls are lucky, they won’t have to wait that long for a consolation prize.
But if anything, I’d be mad if they fixed the Troll set and left the Worgen one as is.

Blizzard knows best. I think they’re even more committed than ever to keep elephant Trolls in the game with all the backlash the heritage mask has gotten.
It’s just not in their system to acknowledge they have it wrong.

Honestly the “We’re soooo busy” excuse, doesn’t go far with me. If you’re so busy then put it off until you’re not working on a patch and a whole new game event. Nobody was forcing them to rush through a half baked clearly unfinished set.

This is never true. They’re always working on “what’s next”.
Yeah honestly I have almost 0 hope that they’ll respect player feedback and fix the set, it’s sad that our expectations have been pushed so low, for what the game costs they really could do better.

What would you consider a proper offer for summoning you??
The only feedback they listen to is when it’s related to the homogenization of faction, race, or class identity. If you demand for velf paladins to exist with no explanations, they’re more likely to do it.
Fixing Troll heritage(related to the identity of the race) well we just can’t acknowledge that, it doesn’t relate to any particular homogenization agenda.

While I’m cool with that thread of mine being included, I do want to reiterate that where i differ from the OP on this subject. I actually really love the set in general. It’s just the mask that I think needs addressing.
