I’d like to be able to transfer my toons from Heartseeker to Mankrik in Era. I am willing to pay (but free would be better!)
Is there any way we can make this happen?
Free Server Transfers are on the basis of development decisions, which do not visit the Customer Support Forums.
If you wish to make a suggestion on adding free character transfers, might I suggest in-game via the Feedback and Suggestion.
Keep in mind too, they’ll have certain criteria’s for what will enable a free server transfer.

Thanks for the advice. I submitted a request, though there’s no chance at a response.
It’d be nice to be able to talk to a service rep about this.
A ticket will not help a gm can not grant transfers

I am sorry but GMs can not grant transfers of any kind. If free transfers are available it is done by the game Devs and will be posted on the website.
If there are restrictions on transfers - GMs also can’t change that. Those are programmed into the system.

They do not offer pvp to pve transfers.
GMs aren’t the only service reps.
No service rep can or will grant a free transfer! Wont happen

Right - that used to be true.
The CS/GM team is one team who handle all tickets that come in. There are still some specialists, but they all have the same tools.
There is nobody who can grant a transfer if it is not offered by the Devs.
Common Problems
* There is no Free Character Migration available for my realm.
- Can you move my character for free?
- I missed the option to move to another realm for free, can you help?
Free Character Migration is a free service to move a character to and from select realms. It is offered when there is a need to balance realms population. If a time-limited Character Migration is available, it will be announced on the official World of Warcraft forums.
Apart from occasional Character Migrations, Free Character Transfers are available to move characters from WoW Classic Hardcore realms. This transfer is final and cannot be changed or reversed.
Blizzard Customer Support cannot provide Free Character Transfers.

I feel there was a significant oversight on their part.
I’m simply trying to point that out.
Simply put: There isn’t an oversight. There isn’t anyway to get a move upon request at any given moment like this. If the devs feel like something should be done, they’d be able to do it when a server is full and there is a noticeable wait time for a given server.

They allow transfers of PvE to PvP in Retail - or did even before Warmode which made it irrelevant. That was certainly the initial policy, but they did change it even before Warmode started.

He put pvp to pve, might not be tranfers depending what verson your playing

I’m blonde and read it wrong. They for sure allowed PVP to PVE you guys arent wrong.
In retail there are no longer pvp servers. For the longest time you could not go pve to pvp

Suggestions are a one way communication, and it is up to develpment to decide if they like to implement the suggestion or not. But as I said:
Some of those criteria’s would be if needing to balance the server, or if the server is overpopulated/underpopulated, etc.
Sorry, but nothing can be done to bypass development decisions, and it is up to the development if there should be a free server transfer from your current realm to your preferred destination realm.

I said exactly that. You could not for a long time, then they allowed PvE to PvP, then they abolished PvP totally for Warmode.
At least I THINK so. I am really brain foggy this morning and it is frustrating. I did not double check that with google fu.

Dont think they ever allowed it until all servers went pve.

There was a time when they allowed pve to pvp, back when I had more money than sense i bounced this character all over and switched between the two more than a few times.
Other than that everything else the OP had issues with has been answered, so I don’t have anything else to add.
I’m trying to go from PvP to PvE.
Historically, hat hasn’t been much of an issue.
