TLDR - they announced they were going to offer free gender changes via barbershop and then scrapped it? Possibility for 9.1.5?
Go to the barber. He’ll swap your gender for you now.

They were talking about the real money fee. That change went through; it’s just a gold price now.
Yeah it’s free now, at any barber shop in retail.

Figure it will only be useful, once you can change the name for free too. I wouldn’t, just me, want my male toon bigjimbob to swap to female and still be called bigjimbob.

They didn’t scrap it. It’s been in the game since the SL prepatch.

That’s only an issue if you’ve explicitly chosen a gendered name. In which case, you’re probably married to the idea of your toon being one gender anyway. If not, the $10 name change isn’t too much of a prohibitive cost.

The problem is there is only 2 genders too choose from. They need to give a variety of options, too show that they have really changed.

As long as Two-Spirit Person is one of the genders I’m all for it. Two-Spirit Person is my favorite gender.

I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt on this thread, but you’ve attracted some unwanted attention. A free name change would be nice, too.
Good to know you don’t support people just trying to be themselves and be free from the gender restricted and oppressed society controlled by cis white males.
true. they need to accommodate the 2000 genders otherwise this game isn’t woke enough.
