Choose a gender neutral name if you want to take advantage of easily swapping genders without feeling weird about it.
If you’re unwilling to do that, that’s fine too, but you have to accept that the barbershop changing your Gender is basically just a preview at that point. It’ll let you see what thing would look like, and if you like it, then you can commit to the name change as well.
Personally I do think things should’ve been handled differently though. Since MOST people aren’t running gender neutral names (barring joke/phrase names, anyway), it really is kind of pointless to have the gender change option at the barber.
They probably should’ve just renamed “Appearance Change” or whatever and dropped the price to $10, and include a Name change with it.

You are technically correct, however the vast majority of sexes are just male/female
Most people dont really think of intersex or XYY/XXY etc when it comes to the sexes due to their rarity
