have you considered that this could be a generic message, and gone through the check-list of all the other things which could prevent a transfer?
Yeah i just deleted them all, i know my avatar shows my level 15 warrior, but i got 50 warrior/DK i am trying to transfer, what makes it worse, is I just paid about 2 hours before they made this service available to transfer a couple of my toons off Area-52…great timing I suppose.
You could probably get a refund if you asked nicely

character level isn’t relevant, anyone can have heirlooms banked.
(i bank all my enchanted ones)
also make sure the mailbox is totally empty, and any letters are deleted
(i think most of my characters still have the anniversary letter in the mailbox, i just removed the attachments and left the letters sitting there)

Which realms are eligible? I tried transferring off of stormrage and didn’t get the option
I went on stormrage on a second account and the option was there.
I guess all realms that had a queue this week are eligible.

You can on stormrage go to the character transfer section in the shop. there will be a new option called free transfer
Those two are not available last time I looked.
cant go to malg or thrall shifty. you can only go to a realm that is high pop, not full pop. i can go to bleeding hollow for example
landelas i am able to xfer off stormrage so im not sure why you cant ( well i cant actually cause of active auction bug)

Dalaran is probably not available for free transfers then if there is no “free transfer” button. The only alliance impacted ones are stormrage and frostmourne.
