One should not be able to further tip a failed server for free.
It is good they did not repeat their prior mistake.
It isnât a fix when the issue already happened. It is just another issue on top of it. Now the player who does have their main characters on those realms canât consolidate their characters.
A person who already plays on those realms isnât going to make anything worse by bringing their alts there. In all honesty, the actual solution would be to lock down those realms(for the duration of these free transfers), but allow free transfers to those realms from these realms that are getting the free transfers if a person already has a max level character on those realms.

Sadly the server list we can transfer to is kinda garbage rofl (at least for Alliance). Our best option(s) is US West or Oceanic.
The good news is you can transfer for free, the bad news is you can only go from a dead server to a dead server
Sulfuras far from dead! Step 1 in the plan; I think Step 2 will be to connect the mids so they become a high.

Blizzard stop dicking around, nobody is transferring to a dead realm.
Are you kidding me?? They put mega servers as destinations on the original free transfer list, destroying the low/medium pop servers. Now that they are finally doing free transfers for the realms they destabilized, and itâs not to the mega servers but the freshly killed realms?? The only reason I am still giving Blizzard ANY money at all is my guild. Anything happens to them, Iâm saying adios to this sad remnant of a once great company. Absolutely disgusted.

Horde for sure go to Grobbulus. It can be evened out as a fun Wpvp server and it has the most horde of all the transfer destinations anyway as it stands.

They arenât correcting any mistakes either. Its worse than doing nothing because at least doing nothing wouldnât have insulted the intelligence of the community.
Hey guys I know the server youâve dedicated months on whether by choice or by our rules is so dead that the worms have started breaking down the bone marrow, but how about a full expenses paid trip to another rotting carcass? Did I mention its free? Its free so youâre welcome.

I did already, on Atiesh supposedly we have ~6k logs, but they must all be people who log on for raid or arena because the world is dead even lookingforgroup fades before it scrolls.
If you donât already have a guild you arenât getting attuned for heroics as the only things being run are kara pugs and heroics.
Is that an out of season April fools joke?

What a slap in the face. Free transfers at last, but only to other dying/dead servers. If they had left the mega servers off the original free transfer list in November, the realms that died over the last 3 months could have been saved. This is no solution at all. I feel like unsubbing right now honestly, this is actually worse than doing nothing. Never buying another Blizzard product ever again.

As an Alliance player on a PvP server, Grobbulus is the only viable server to transfer to, all other realms are dead.
I donât think Blizzard grasp the severity of this, either that or they are setting Grobbulus for its inevitable demise and cash in on paid character transfers.
Grobbulus will turn into an alliance dominated server and horde players will be forced to pay Blizzard to leave the server.

Grobb is sick, I donât know why any horde would be disappointed with the prospect of transferring here. Itâs only going to get better as more horde come, which seems to be the case as much of Thunderfury has already committed to come in the most recent wave.

There is no Alliance left on the other servers to join Grobbulus.
Itâs far more likely a lot of horde will transfer to Grobbulus and turn it into yet another Horde dominated server.
