I think people do care about server balance, they’re just scared of taking a risk on other servers. Alliance transferring to benediction or horde to Whitemane is a safe move. You’re guaranteed tons of players to play with and you know your faction won’t die and leave you stranded. If it were a totally free move though, and those populated servers weren’t an option, plenty of people would take a free risk just to have a better server population.

Make small realms drop double loot, we will have balanced server in a few week

The wording there is not very clear. How about Medium pop servers caught on a inevitable death spiral, are you going to allow people to move out of those servers too?
How about one sided Medium servers? For an example, what if I have an alliance character on Skeram or Mankrik?

Just an update to my earlier comment: rattlegore went from 800s to now 600s according to ironforge.pro log analyzer for demographics. Thats a 1/4 loss in a week! Please include rattlegore and validate the population reduction with your own data if needed!

You would think blizz has all the info they need to make the proper adjustments on realm populations but just in case here is the ironforge.pro link that shows a rough faction population per server. quite a few of these servers are “medium” but have a severe faction imbalance. Once again as an example, my server, Earthfury. “medium” population yet it holds 101 alliance to 3872 horde. Free transfers will most likely not be offered due to the “medium” pop label yet this is where the work really needs to be done. ironforge.pro/population/tbc/ Before you go making a concrete decision on how to offer these transfers. Please do your research because lately it feels like blizz has about 2 people who are huffing paint calling the shots.

Yes, they should include Rattlegore, Kromcrush, Skeram. They probably will but it’s great to have posts here asking for it.
Some people may read my earlier posts and think I’m ok with all of this but I find the whole thing really sad.

It really is sad in general. A lot of people who transfered off went to whitemane… and though it is plentiful in doing things… it just isn’t the same… many just got eaten alive and ended up quitting (tho some still kicking it).
The community we built on Daddlegore isn’t there. I fear we’ll never have anything close to what we had when Rattlegore was alive and prospering (we were never a big server. I think our highest was 4k total or something). I know all good things eventually come to and end, but I feel it was way too soon and many things could have been done to prevent it before it got to its current state. Rn we have GMs scouting other medium and high pop servers, sharing information with each other in our discord.
The only hope we have now is to keep our community we have alive at all costs and go somewhere else that isn’t already marked with imminent death. . I feel a lot of people on servers like rattlegore perhaps have the same sentiment.

Yes, 100%. I have a friend who went from Earthfury alliance to Benediction and figured out that although there are a lot of groups etc he does not like it there so he quit (although he plans to play SoM) so this is more in line with what you said.
Some people thrive in the mega server environment and some people don’t like it so much.
Agreed, and overall sorry to hear about Rattlegore. I didn’t know much about Rattlegore but I did talk to some people from there in battlegrounds and they seemed to like it. I’m also a fan of servers with a more medium pop as you still get the groups but people know each other and the community tends to be quite good.
I always find it sad when server communities die even if this is just a video game it’s also an MMO. I’ve been posting about server issues for a while here hoping for a resolution for people while servers or sides of servers have died one by one. 
For sure hopefully, the Rattlegore community and other server communities can stay together as much as possible when moving.

They usually do when they announce it for the next day and you open a ticket, but seeing this is “in the coming weeks”… you can try, but who knows.
How about balancing the PVP realms (IE sulfuras with maybe 10 alliance total)…otherwise…tf is the point of a PVP realm?
I kind of makes me sad that they waited too long to do this and so many people have already quit.
