Couple questions? You say closing LOW pop servers, but I checked both Windseeker and Westfall are MEDIUM Pop servers, why are they closing? How is mail handled, do I have to clear all my mail or will it be transferred over. Btw thanks Blizz for making the game feel more like work!

The free transfers from Remulos to Arugal, which were opened up without any communication, have been switched off, again without prior communication.
The players left on Remulos who were waiting to hear what was going on with servers before making a decision on where to play in Cataclysm (if at all) are now stuck on a dead server, unless they pay to transfer or reroll.

Free transfers are nice, but if you want people to bother you need to also allow free GUILD transfers. Starting over is pretty much just for masochists.

The EU RP PvE server is closing and migrations are offered to the PvE servers. You should do the same with the US RP PvE server.
The guild transfer option has to happen. We have no choice. Blizzard please do something.

Seriously, looking at the names on the replies about BSB, it seems like ALL the remaining active players on BSB are asking for this.
You are incorrect windseeker was a destination of free transfers at the start of tbc classic. How do i know? I transferred their from mankrik with all my characters.
I didnt leave until my guild broke up and it was near impossible to find another guild as a hunter.

For the sake of all the inactive players who will inevitably log in when it’s too late to choose their destination, I think it would make FAR more sense to force transfers of everyone to the same realm. Then give players one free transfer after the fact, to anywhere they wished, usable within two months after launch, limited to Not Benediction (for example).
Take my server: have all Azuresong (yes we’re still barely kicking) and Old Blanchy go to Atiesh. Period. Then when Joe level 44 priest logs on in August, he’ll at least recognize some names.
One thing I don’t understand, however, is why there is great concern over the guild banks. Are the tabs really that expensive? Just load up a couple mules with four frostweave bags if you want all those Scorpid mail recipes from Tanaris. If you can’t trust your guild leader to hold all the gold that he could take at any time…then you’re already in trouble.
So if y’all could inform me why this is such an issue, please do!

WTB paid character transfer to a single Wrath-ever era realm. If not, well, so be it.
Enjoy Cata ‘classic’. Enjoying SoD and Modern Retail. Would love to have my era toons remain in Wrath but it is what it is.

Guilds and guild banks do not transfer. Although I heard you can get your empty guild bank transferred, does anyone know if that is correct? Save you the 20k or whatever to buy a new one?

I love to leave my well balanced medium server for a 99% horde or 99% alliance one. Also, who needs character names I have for years and a guild bank, right? Good job Blizzard, GOOD JOB.

Just another stranded Bloodsail Buccaneers player here, requesting our server be added to the transfer list, please! The server has been dead for a long time, and will only get worse come Cata (as I know the main guilds are already planning on leaving the server). Help us Blizzard, please.
