How about instead of trying to get people off health realms, you fix the connection issues for those of us who haven’t been able to play since Saturday.
^ This. They must already have a timeline for when Classic phase 2 is released.
I feel like Earthfury will now be the home of the Alliance, from all of the terrible unbalanced server ratios of everyone playing horde. Me and friends are definitely thinking about coming here from Krom (Alliance) where its pretty much a 2:1 ratio of ally to Horde and Ive been here since day 1, lvl 49
Does anyone play on Windseeker? Me and hubby were considering moving from Mankrik to Windseeker but I’m afraid of how dead it may be.
Sorry if I misreported but the Ratio is Horde Dominated to ally 2:1 or more on Krom
Earthfury will have an influx of English speakers from Thalnos because its a Brazilian server. Should be healthy for the server.
I’m guessing they’re going to reduce the maximum number of layers per realm over the next week. That will cause queues to reappear and incentivize people to take advantage of the transfer.
They’ve already started reducing the layers. I’ve definitely noticed that I see tons more players literally everywhere as compared to the first 2 weeks. I think they’ve been true to their word that they will be reducing layers as they are able to
horde side as well
Ok so then this is a real motivation for transfers.
Blizzard LET US CHOOSE THE LOW POP SERVER, you split the eastern servers in half with these transfers AGAIN, we have half of our guild on rattlegore and half on stalagg
The queues should be the driving force to spur transfers, not an arbitrary end date. What is the harm in someone doing it in a “random time in the future”?
You are basing that on what exactly? If anything, having longer to plan ahead and have guilds on the same page would make it LESS likely to “unexpectedly split”.
It’s probably due to there being way too many people in general. I rerolled on this server from a pvp server, and trying to get through Westfall and Redridge is a nightmare. People everywhere, killing same mobs i need. Even grouping doesn’t help because you have several groups competing with other groups for the same gnolls, and the respawn timers suck. I’m VERY happy they’re opening transfers off this server. I’ll gladly step out to Windseeker.
I would move to Netherwind right now from Stalagg but they didn’t allow that. Instead, made a whole new server while Netherwind was already sitting at low pop when I checked it.
And, the Alliance/Horde ratio is currently still balanced. Westfall is like 3:1 A:H at least.
moved from faerlina , best move yet just waiting for server to fill up (hopfully) lol enjoying the smooth questing so far tho dont have to compete for anything
My friends are on Kurinnaxx and I’m on Kirtonos… Why won’t you just let us go to any of the small ones we want to…
I am just being sensible. There is no reason they need to keep making more realms and certainly no reason they should be trying to convince people to leave some of the realms on that list.
It was a mistake, and the sooner it is rectified the better.
There is not going to be cross realm tech in classic nor connected realms or any other eventual solution.
Population management has been the one sore spot for classic so far and if the most creative way to manage it is funnel people off medium realms then what is this game going to look like a year in?
When layering is removed, even low pops will still have plenty of people if what they say about populations back then compared to now is true. Upon layering removal, some people on medium realms will probably start finding it a bit too crowded for their liking.
Netherwind already has a lot of people in it, it’s a healthy realm as in they don’t need more people and they’ll be fine when blizzard removes layers. My guess is all the new realms will get to that point as well after this new sets of transfers.
