Classic also didn’t have 12,000 people in a que either. Lets talk logic because that appears to be your word of the day. Here’s some “logical” observations. Player A got in the first few days… leveled up… their friends (players B) also… Players B decided after real life hit them and a long day at work that they did not want to sit in a 8 hr que after getting off of a long day of work. Players A kept leveling on their days off and are now in their 40s where players B had work and only made it to level 15. Players B left to another high populated server with very little que time. Players A are now stuck to either go to a low populated ghost town server and not play their original toon with Players B. Heres the problem with why no one will go to the new ghost town of a server… because Player A and player B can not BOTH transfer their now leveled toons to these servers.
“Logically” you would think blizzard would allow EVERYONE to move to these new servers. Not just two realms to a server… that “logically” makes zero “logical” “logic”
Queues on Herod are still long. I expect Earthfury will be seeing more transfers- it is easy to see you have a 2.5 hour queue and then hit accept on that transfer button.
All you are assuming is that Blizzard will cater to your QoL problems. You look like someone who always gets what he wants and feels entitled to it. The way Classic and the Servers work would clearly tell you that if you roll on different servers, there is no way you will play together again unless you re-roll. You pretend as if it was Blizzards fault that your rolled on a high pop server that was announced to have hour long queues and that your friends disagreed to play with you if they had to wait in those queues.
Where do you get the idea from that Blizzard needs to give you a free server transfer to correct your choice of rolling on different realms? This was never on the table and you should have known this.
Blizzard even stretched so far to allow people to transfer now to low pop servers cause people keep crying about queues while Blizzard was clearly warning about it.
The only reason to do this is to correct their mistake of not capping high pop servers but I am sure they would have gotten flag from you for doing that too, as “I cannot play with my friends” even if its as easy of a solution as just rolling on the same server and stick to it.
What they should have done was allowed all six full servers to transfer to 1 new and maybe it would have been normal LOL
Bud I rolled on a server that was created a few days before launch… It’s obvious you’re a mighty fine keyboard warrior who can’t use common “logic” I’m not bothered by the que times. I’m speaking out for other players who I’ve heard all complain about the same thing.
It’s very clear that you won’t see anyone else point of view so I’m not going to waste my time trying to get a point across to someone as stubborn as a flat earther.
I already said this… its to “logical” though for them to do that because us saying that makes us " look like someone who always gets what we want and feel entitled to it"
Do not play on different servers if you want to play together.
If you play on different servers you will not play together.
There is no service ever planned that will help you with this issue. It is the same for everyone of us.
What Blizzard needs to do is discreetly rollback the stopgaps they added on all full servers to encourage server transfers.
They already increased player caps on the realms to try to improve the queue situation. It’s time to roll that back to their intended levels.
Their solutions do not work together simultaneously.
I don’t know if Blizzard will be able to do it discreetly. Players are pretty sensitive to queue times.
If queues suddenly increase, people will put 2 and 2 together. Then this forum will be flooded with angry posts/threads accusing Blizzard of purposefully increasing queue times to force transfers.
Earthfury is really picking up. As in, “it’s getting nigh on impossible to even mine copper or kill quest mobs in all of Goldshire” picking up. The chat is perpetual, and many guilds are recruiting. The guild I joined tonight already had 124 members and was already increasing from that.
They shouldnt have raised them in the first place. It just makes it more likely theyll cave to complaints about queues in phase 2 and keep layering
Dude same. Only level 32 but holy crap what a massive mistake I made.
World chat is dead and if anyone says anything all they trolls jump them at once and rush them off…
Clearly I have Ret Prio. Not to mention timing of when you sign on is everything. Believe me, people are going to transfer off - the nostalgia is already wearing off for some.
Should probably keep them open for a few weeks.
Earthfury had an Alliance population of ~500 most of the night yesterday (Friday). I am seeing more players but hardly enough to find others reliably to do group content.
I just did a /who every 5 levels, Heartseeker has 688 right now (1PM CST)
do not leave skeram for Earthfury… place is dead lol just a head up for skeram players wanting to leave… huge mistake… no que but also no players
with how dead some of the servers are server links are 100% mandatory, or paid server transfers need to come sooner
Please do something about the insanely low populations on the new servers. It’s impossible to get a group for anything. The social aspect of the game is completely gone.
