Now can we get a new server to move away from all the transfers to our servers? what a cesspool
So then no one would transfer?
What would be a purpose if it wiped everything? if my nearly week of playtime was wiped iâd quit
Not the character itself just the gold and items that couldâve been duped from layering over and over
How many characters can I transfer? I have more than one and would only do it if you allow me to do all characters.

I transferred all of mine.
6k queue and 120 minute estimated wait time for Whitemane when I logged on a few minutes ago. Not enough transfered apparently.
There are 15 full servers right now and exactly 3 low. You can probably guess which 3. People on both sides of this equation could really use a real solution. The risk of transferring to a dead server clearly didnât appeal even before people could plainly see that they were. Blizzard halp.

The obvious solution was to allow people from full realms transfer to any realm, not just a designated one. Half my friends stayed on Herod and the other half moved to Thunderfury. If theyâd been able to move to the realm they wanted it would have been fine, but they donât want to move to Earthfury where none of us can play together.
Obviously people who went on full servers in the first place and now complain about queues donât get why Blizz wonât allow this but instead âguidesâ them to low pop servers.
If left to those players, with free choice, they would just move to the next higher pop server.
People are just hiding their true intentions at this point, if it was about queues people would move to the low pop server. But its just about convinience and the ability to freely move to any server they want.
If you want to move freely to any server, create a new character there like everybody else.
When will paid transfers be available?

What choice was it? To move to a ghost town server? Why not allow people to pick what server they want to move to? Not force us to a dead crap serverâŚ

Servers will be merged if they are truely dead. No need for retail transfer services.

People donât want to have to relevel to 30-40⌠They had friends who left to other servers that canât go to earthfury⌠And if blizzard only opened ONE new pvp server⌠ONE new pve server and ect⌠we wouldnât have dead servers with ppl who now have their mains stuck on. Regardless blizzard could have gave us the option to move to medium and < servers. Once that server because âHighâ they would simply lock the transfers there⌠Its not rocket science.
So you want to play with your friends who rolled on a different server. Isnât it logical that you cannot play together if you roll on different servers? What did you expect? This service is not to allow you play with your friends or does it say so in the OP. This service (which you take for granted) is to get you off a high populated server and that it is doing.
There is no server transfer in classic/vanilla to allow you freely move between servers for good reasons. There are some innocent cases like yours but at least the same amount of cases why it is a bad idea to allow free server transfer and why people do not want this in classic.
Give it a few weeks, its likely plenty servers will be merged. Enjoy leveling undisturbed until then.
