Cs got locked at launch and we wanted an RP PVP sever. I welcome this change as CB was dead as hell

I followed through on the transfer. Now when I try to login after the transfer was completed it says “Login is currently restricted on this character.” I don’t have an alliance character on the new server (or any server). This is a horde. What does that mean?

If you have a ally toon you cant log in on horde and vice versa

I am a guild leader of a small guild on chaos bolt. You’re effectively saving our guild with this move; we have had trouble finding warm bodies to fill in for core raiders who have the occasional conflict. We are casual mid-core so no one has max level alts on CS.

You are now forcing all of your players to make a very difficult decision. Guilds and communities will die from this it is not player friendly or customer service based. Way to kill the hype for phase 3 by killing the actual vanilla like server you had.

Yes, but I don’t know if I can reroll from Horde to ally. As I’ll have to delete my horde chars to do so.
Idk if it will flag me as a “new player” and lock me out of CB. :frowning:

if you had trouble finding people either not looking hard enough or are playing at late hours. Never had trouble finding groups, been dungeon / raiding every lock out since week one no problem.

Never roll on a new server that isn’t part of the original batch when a season launches. Lesson for everyone. Tough the queues out

Kinda unfair to say when a huge population of CB players are Ally players who got locked out 10 mins into launch due to all the streamers and their trash audience rolling on Ally.

As someone who runs an RP guild on Chaos Bolt, I don’t think this was the move.

CB was by far the best RP server you guys have across all World of Warcraft games.

This is the dumbest freaking thing.

Why is Blizz obsessed with creating Megaservers? Not everyone wants to participate in that crap.

Chaos Bolt’s population is fine. The thing to do here is to make free transfers TO Chaos Bolt, not away from it.

Why not cut the classic philosophy crap that ruins player experiences and just enable cross-server grouping and a cross-server premade group finder?

Then people on any size server can find groups when they want to if they want to.
