Should have given people from CS the option to transfer to CB, or given the CB people the option to transfer to any server.

I havenāt transferred anything in a long time, but how it used to work is you canāt transfer if you have mail in your mailbox, it makes you clear it out before transferring.
This is worse news than the stories I wrote about in my book series, āThe Goldshire Murders.ā

You canāt transfer if you have mail in your inbox, or auctions ongoing. You gotta cancel them all or open and empty your mail before you transfer off.
Is this a early april fools joke? Why in the flying frick would blizz kill a healthy server and make us move to a toxic streamer mega server?

Why are you killing our server? And to Crusader Strike of all places?
I love the small town community feel of Chaos Bolt! I love seeing the same people over and over, knowing their reputations and building my own relationships with them. Many people rolled on Chaos Bolt to escape the 50 messages a minute spam of mega servers like Crusader Strike.

Is this whole thing an experiment in making something fun and then intentionally setting it on fire to see the reaction?
What is the braindead logic to this? Saving 20 bucks a month on the electricity to power the hardware on a server thatās otherwise doing just fine?

Most people who rolled on chaos bolt, rolled there to not be on crusader strike with the cringey streamers and there fanbois. Why is CS our only option, cmon getouttaere!

I donāt understand this. Chaos Bolt players were doing just fine, finding pugs was easy. Itās a healthy server and absent of everything people hate about megaservers.
Please reverse this decision.

This is a terrible decision. I absolutely love the vibe and community on Chaos Bolt. Allowing transfers is one thing. Killing our server by stopping character creation is another. I donāt want to play on a mega server. If your intent is to close out the server please allow us to at least choose another small server if desired.

this is crazy, just a week ago I did a BFD not at peak hours, just to casually level this toonā¦ I mean CB players would joke that our server was a DAD server but we didnāt actually mean it was a DEAD server. WTF

Yeah if you have horde toons on CS and transfer your ally to CS you cant login to your ally. Great thinking blizz.

I am having an issue where my newly xfered ally toon is unable to log on. Previously created and newly created ally toons on CS are still able to log in without restriction. Thankfully I moved a test alt before swapping any max level characters

Imagine being so out of touch with your player base. We dont want a mega server hence playing on chaos bolt. We dont want 20 layers and laggy events. We want to farm without thousands of bots and competition. It was a good server, ironforge was super lively last night and there is always groups and raids going. Pvp was balanced enough seeing horde and ally out in the world. This is a horrible decision as now people will panic flee and not to mention if all the ally transfer and you lock CS factions how would we play? We would be completely screwed?? How the heck is this even remotely smart?

This is an emotional reaction, I acknowledge this, but I might just quit wow on the spot. I really donāt want to suffer another mega server after the colossal f-up up your company did in tbc and wrath servers. I was extremely thankful that Chaos Bolt was first created, a much smaller server but still large enough that I personally did not have trouble finding groups. Perhaps the late evening hours were tough but by then I was ready to wind down and relax, not start another group.
This announcement has killed off most of my excitement for phase 3 due to your decision to kill off this server without any warning. I guess it was too good to be true to believe thereās no way you could mess up servers this time.
