My gnome name is small but my GNOME name is mighty!

Nice to meet you LongAndFabulous!
Oh with no limits, Iâll have a field day.
I claim Avogadroâs constant first!
Somehow it took me until last Saturday to realize that the flight master in Loamm is named Avogadro.
Such a nerd game.
I think someone would put in as many digits of pi as their computer could handle. I would simply use base pi so the number is 10. Perfect representation!
Yes!! When I first saw that I thought âwoah, well played. Them being âmoldâ and all.â
I mean, thatâs too excitable for a not-nerd like me. I mean, yeah, I saw that dude guy, and thought âlol wtf? Some1 likez that chip dip in Blizzâ
I feel like the average IQ of mmorpg players is probably closer to 115. Thereâs a lot of input we all process at once (even if it feels like second nature). Fast reaction time means fast processing speed (the converse is not necessarily true). We also spend a lot of time on the computer which forces us to be at least decent at using computers which requires some creativity and problem-solving (fluid reasoning). I feel like every gamer comfortable in a 3D game has excellent visual spatial intelligence. Working memory might be something if you track your groupâs cooldowns or play super dot specs (sin, afflic) but maybe not so much this part in general.
I would tend to agree⌠with the exception of maybe Ragnaros/QT/Azralon
There are some decent players there, but I dunno - I just get the sense thereâs way more âimmatureâ types among the casual pug-pool, and certainly lower than 115 IQ based on some of the childish/immature antics I see from a lot of the pugs from those servers
Itâs possible that thereâs way more little kids/teenager types making up the ranks from those servers, but itâs hard to tell. Just the way they talk gives me the perception theyâre not too bright, some of them understand English perfectly well but âplay dumbâ to cover up for bad play/body-pulls/wipe-causing mistakes rather than owning up to it (if that makes sense)
No, the nonsense is thinking theyâre going to code an entirely new system when itâs not needed.
No one cares if theyâre the same. It would be under our character names.
I think Iâm simply going to request to be referred to by this gif:
Not to get much deep into this argument, but I certainly do. Itâs why I stay away from the D4 forums. Thereâs no need for another unique identifier though: just show the entire btag with the id number attached. Iâd be fine with just Character-server+battletag below/to-the-side, but having the full btag+number would nice for those of us with non-unique btag name portions. Of course, we have the same issue of non-instant identification with same-named characters anyways on the WoW forums currently with impersonations or simply people with the same name.
I adore you
Your battletag is already visible if someone knows where to look.
ppl need to not care enough abt what people post on is my thing. i have no idea what dk even does, but i know a lot abt hpal but ppl will disregard me bc my âhandleâ is a belf dk like i only play and know what a 55dk does.
its crazy and very simple minded of some lol. its just a profile pic basically like discord or w/e.
Iâm against btag, but Iâm for a unified identity on the forums.
Just not battletags. Because, despite what pro-btag people seem to hear, I have personally been subjected to harassment from my btag being posted before.
I donât give a crap if someone posts theirs and donât get harassment. IT HAPPENED TO ME Thatâs all I need to know. Period. And Blizzard knows it too cause they had to get involved so hopefully they donât do Battletags on forums.
The people who say mine is an outlier case are essentially saying itâs okay if a few people get harassed and cyber bullied as long as accountability for everyone is there. The minute I told people what happened to me, and had to get Blizzard involved it got so bad, should have been the minute yâall stopped for btag for the forums and went to âGive us a forum identifierâ instead.
But no, people are perfectly fine subjecting a few people to harassment and bullying even though thereâs a solution that wonât. All because they think btag implementation would be easier.
Btags for the forum are a horrible idea. A Unified Identity for the forums is not.
Itâs not surprising when you consider who vehemently oppose anything other than btag. Par for the course with that crowd.
We need Btags here.
