Another good point to moving to btags or some sort of analog.
We have no way of figuring out if we’re talking to someone that actually means what they’re saying and isn’t just trying to mess with us. That wouldn’t solve the problem but it would provide us a data point to make a judgement call.
So pick a WoW character but Btag name shows up when click on name template? Then you can auto mute all my characters?

While I’m in favor of that, there are people who multibox, own multiple accounts and will just log onto another account to harass people.
There was a time when IPs would help with this, but with VPNs becoming more popular, that’s not an option.

When I logged in today, the loading screen picture was, I believe, a map of the Siren Isles. They can add that to the loading screen, but can’t upload a new forum header pic. I guess it was one or the other 
I’m all for anti-harassment. I really am. I was just highlighting a slight flaw that they would have to work out because multiboxing is not a rare thing.
Forum header being an air ship from hallowfall would also be cool.
if one is arguing for the btag over harassment, etc, one is admitting they KNOW there IS harassing sorts on this forum…and the LAST thing it needs is another tool the harassers can use to keep harassing those who have changed alts to get away from it.

these btag threads dont usually last long. they turn into echo chambers 100% of the time and anyone disagreeing gets insulted and harassed so they get closed down sooner or later…usuallly sooner
