Anyone else have an issue with there form character?
Mine shows im a level 60 Human paladin when in fact I am an 80 Blood elf paladin. Tried logging in and out, liking a post, changing my password but nothing helped.

The forums barely function, Blizz doesn’t care, it’s fine.
I like how it doesn’t say “WoW Classic” beside your character anymore and doesn’t show realm when you mouseover, you have to click on someone’s name then mouseover the name on the popup.

You can mouse over their portrait, and your web browser should show you the link destination. The link will have the server name. That’s how I do it. I didn’t know clicking on someone’s name would show it xD
Oh, you’re right. The little “WoW Classic” thing is gone though, but is still there if you click the name.
Maybe retail accounts look different?

Yes. It seems like after moving characters, I can no longer find some. I guess this is a side effect of realms dying and characters being moved, plus naming collisions.
it’s unfortunate because I am trying to use warcraft logs, and warcraft logs shows my toon as a level 60 Dwarf paladin wearing all level 80 PVP RET gear, yet my character is a level 80 Blood elf paladin with Holy PVE gear.

Obvious answer, but it won’t let you select a different character from the update character screen? All of my Classic toons are tucked below my retail ones
Yep, my main has basically disappeared and “support” have never been able to restore it. For months now.
Forums avatars are basically broken.

My avatar has been broken for over 6 months already, I can only see Classic Era chars. I tried updating my chars, logged out, cleared browser cache, etc, nothing seems to work.

Mine is busted too, this guy is level 60; has been for ages. Nothing I do seems to fix it
I’m having the same issue. Mine isn’t updating either.
Also I’m being shadowbanned and all my posts are being deleted, but that’s another story. Think I may have upset a mod or something
its messing up with my warcraft logs, I am actually a level 80 Blood elf paladin, and unfortunately warcraft logs wants to import my toon from Blizzard forums, so it shows him as alliance. All other toons show horde correctly, but my main. very annoying. Customer support basically told me i must not be seeing the right character and the correct one will be further down the list. Im not stupid, but they sure did make me feel like it. Sad to see that basic functions are not working.
A lot of my wrath characters won’t even show on the forum, even ones I’ve played and leveled lately. I logged out, cleared the cache and logged back in, still missing my main most used classic character.
I suspect this happens to people that paid to keep a clone character on era. They share an ID reference (probably based on using avatar name + server as a primary key). Where there’s duplication it creates an issue.
It can be fixed by creating a seperate ID primary key linked to each avatar and using that for the forum avatar lookup. Maybe keep the same but add a Classic era prefix to one.

In game you may be a blood elf but in your heart, you’re a lvl 60 dwarf.
I didn’t pay for the clones, but I did re-roll keeping some of the names, the classic character with the same name does show, but not the Wrath. I just checked, and any character name I have in both Wrath and Classic, is only showing the Classic character.
You are absolutely right, now I hope they fix it.
I wonder if it also applies to people that let go of their classic names, and then someone used them on classic, and this is why they can’t use their Wrath characters on the forums?
