I was just wondering if I can still get back to the Lounge and if someone would take a look at what it will take (short of dying and coming back as a “Hain’t”)?
To reach Trust level 3? It looks like need to reply to 9 more posts, view 450 more topics and read about 20k more posts and visit the forums for another 17 days.

Thanks, Vrakthris. I need …sorry… I was about to say “I need my friends in The Lounge”, but that would be closing out everyone else I consider my friend. Can I just say I miss being able to post stories and songs and stuff?
And a certain friend whose name begins with an “N”?
Can I just say that and get back to work on the assignment given, and get back everywhere else as I can?

In order to maintain a forum trust level of 3, yes.
Posts mean “Comments” correct? So each time the little blue dot disappears, that’s a post read. I think.
Or I could be totally off.

Thanks as I typed I’m like there isn’t even 20K “Threads” on the forums, is there? haha so as daunting as it seems, 20K comments isn’t really as bad.
I guess they don’t count the ones I ALREADY did? Like the ones that got me to Level 3 the FIRST time? No? Dayum!
Nope, it decays over time afaik, so you have to maintain it as Perl said. I’ve taken breaks from WoW and the Forums, have to earn it back.
The Discourse software uses the following as one of the requirements for Trust Level 3:

You can sorta cheese it by going to one of the mega threads around and just scrolling down the page. I know that’s what some people have done in the past.
Though that has its own downside too. Aince it’s a rolling 100 days if you read say 5k at once, that will all drop off at the same time later. You’d lose the trust level again unless you had been continuing to be active in the forums.

Totally up to you if it’s worth it to you or not. Nobody else can really answer that for you
That said, to add to what Jeysca said, reduce the font size for the browser window (shrink the text) and scroll slowly (or use something to “help” you scroll) while viewing one of the mega-threads or lounges and you’ll hit 20k in no time flat.
Edit: I do wish that they’d lower that threshold too…back when these forums were introduced, it was super-easy as the forums were fast-paced. I think a lower number would be more reasonable today
