Forsaken Undead Paladin svp

Hello, people that may work at blizzard or not can we please get an undead paladin class. I get that lore wise not every undead would be able to become a paladin due to the use of the light. The problem I find is that an undead can become a holy priest why not just let undead become a paladin. Secondly if it really is that much big of a deal just make it an unlockable class or allied race of undead able to become a paladin, if it really offends people that bad just change the light coloured abilities to be dark or shadow esk comme the shadow priest style effects. Gameplay wise I mean allowing every race to play every class is technically to must fair way of processing everything such as treating everyone equally, but I understand you are a private corporation and seek to treat everyone like customers but I am sure there is a number of ways you can address undead becoming paladins heck we dont even need a new starting zone or related zone to holy undead. I think maybe its time that undead forsaken players such as my self can become paladins.

I have a really simple solution for this whole problem. Disable holy priest for forsaken.

Undead Paladin would be funny to watch, makes no sense, but hey why not.

If i remember correctly undead are extremely sensitive to the light to the point where it can be fatal. Also due to the forsakens nature it woudnt make sense for them to be paladins moral and principal wise because most forsaken are inherently rutheless.

I’m not sure but I think they retconned the fatal part. I think now it just bugs them, like a bad rash that wont go away or some nonsense like that.

We are getting Lightforged Death Knights, so I don’t really see a problem with having Forsaken Paladins anymore. They’re basically the same thing.

Id personally be all for Forsaken Paladins! Forsaken are one of my favorite races, and more options is never a bad thing.

Putting it lightly.

Forsaken holy priests must have an iron resolve and unwavering faith, lest the pain of wielding the light drive the mad. It can even kill them in large volumes.

It is for that reason that they can’t be paladins. Priest call upon the light to great physical distress, but paladins are infused by it. The light is always within a paladin, and a forsaken would either burst into flames or go completely insane.

It’s not though, anybody can die and be resurrected. Many powerful paladins were raised into the scourge. The light doesn’t inhabit dead bodies. There actually were scourge paladins because the lich king forced them to continue channeling the light even though it burned.

Wait for the Undead AR and see if they don’t give you an Undead Pally option. Still have no clue what they will be but hoping they are not LF Forsaken though if they were I guess you would get your Pally Undead.

Alliance soon or later will have undead lightforged and they will be palladins.

I can already taste the horde tears . haha

That’s kind of stupid to be perfectly honest and makes zero sense from a game play perspective.

Maybe if undead became Kyrian like or Valkyr like. They are making more death lore. Kyrians seem to be more light aligned.

As we see with Odyn and bastion. U dead are capable at wielding the light. The scourge are soldiers from Maldraxxus. And we may see more example of zealots overthere. Currently with the 4 horsemen we see the zealot still able to use holy magics. So if we see more zealots in maldraxxus that could be a good tie-in.

You guys are going to get undead paladins when the lightforged version of forsaken comes out

well if the lightforged can change a dreadlord into one of them why cant it work for undead? after all the dreadlords aren’t exactly known for their boy scout mentality

Actually Calia makes no sense, but she exists and therefore an Undead Paladin does work now.

It is all fairly stupid how warcraft universe is being treated, like someone who really does not appreciate the mythos from its concept. Things get changes like a group of drunk guys having a bright idea at 3 am
that or, corporate lackey’s trying to squeeze more money out the of the players.

I always thought most of the concepts were akin to a bunch of chimpanzees sitting in front of a typewriter

It was once said that eventually through random generation that those chimps would produce Shakespeare. They were wrong, we have proof
 its called the Internet.

I mean personally if you think about it there already is an undead paladin in the universe and that person is doing just fine. Another point is forsaken shouldn’t be able to play priest if light is this big of an issue. The scarlet commander when undead uses holy paladin magic zeliek also uses holy magic even on undeath. Now Calia exist so as long as the forsaken is strong enough in faith he should be able to become a paladin and use the abilities. Another thing to point out is Paladins are just priest and then using holy magic in general shows disproves this undead can’t use the light according to the game itself they still use it and there is no visible distress ever shown in game with undead priest to my knowledge. Let’s be honest wow is about gameplay I myself would rather the game be super well balanced and playable than having a super amazing story without plot holes( that’s not really possible anyways). Why not just give undead Paladins now they have clearly changed any lore preventing them from becoming Paladins now

Undead Paladins should be playable. They exist in game already.
