Kalimdor isn’t lost. The Night Elves are still around in Darkshore, Felwood, Moonglade, Hyjal, Winterspring, Half of Ashenvale, Half of Stonetalon, Feralas, and Desolace.

The Night Elves have dominated all of Ashenvale save for the lumbercamp and Splintertree.
They are presently (as of Exploring Kalimdor) invading Azshara and the Barrens entirely on their own without needing the help of the Alliance.

And you did. You didn’t post anything about Ashenvale, or Darkshore, or Azshara.
You posted Stonetalon, Feralas, and some lake.
