Because no one had mentioned Rastakhan in this thread.
OK. Next time then.
I never denied that Bolvar swore himself to House Wrynn. He obviously had to to serve as regent until Varian returned.
You only said, quote; āAlliance main characters who die or leave the Alliance?ā and āAlliance characters who die or leave the Alliance?ā Adding these caveats (such as āthey were written to be villainsā) afterwards looks like moving the goalposts, are you familiar with that logical fallacy?
Also, citation needed that Fandral was always intended to be a villain. Iād heard that Fandral being a villain was done due to fan dislike of the character - you can have two character at each otherās throats without one becoming a villain later.
This is what I said.
When you lost Bolvar, we lost Dranosh and Varimathras.
When you lost Fandral, we lost CAIRNE.
I hadnāt heard that anywhere. Heād been a jerk the entirety of his existence and was constantly trying to undermine Tyrande and sleepyboi Malfurion.
So, since you always demand proof.
Fandral was antagonistic to Tyrande and this was first shown in the WoW: Game Manual first published in 2004-2007. long before he became a villain in the Firelands raid in 2011.
Fandral Staghelm - One of Malfurionās top lieutenants, is a clever druid who has trained many of the newest generation of [druids of the wild]. His hot temperament has sometimes clashed with the more restrained Malfurion. Fandral believes that the future of the night elves demands more expansionism and military planning. His radical beliefs and aggressive demeanor often lead him to quarrel openly with the High Priestess, Tyrande. Regardless, to this date, Fandral has proven to be an effective replacement for the missing Malfurion.
You wanted proof that Fandral has always been hinted at being an enemy of Tyrande and Malfurian and the Night Elves in general here it is. Heās hot headed, has āradical beliefsā and he openly fights with Tyrande in public.
No changing of the goal posts here only facts.
And what was your loss for Theramore? Southshore? Northwatch? Fort Victory? Heck, the Horde managed to much up the various town of Ashenvale while the Horde counterparts of Sepulcher was untouched. Heck, the gnomes only have the upper half of their capital while the Trolls got the entire echo isles. Where is the goblins losses to comensurate the Worgens losing their homesā¦TWICE! (the worgens were already given just a tree while the goblins got the entirety of Aszhara and then even that tree burned down along with Darnassus).
Also, we had Benedictus, whoās Horde counterpart for Cata was suppose to be Rommath but Rommath got spared and he didnāt.
Name a character and Iāll trade them for Theramore. Heck Iāll trade the entire Alliance cast for Lordaeron.
That proves he clashes with Tyrande, which I never disagreed on. That doesnāt prove the writers always intended him to be a villain, my dear contrarian.
To be fair both Magatha and Fandal had a similar position of āwe probably shouldnt be trusting themā for Horde/Alliance. We were giving something grain which was poisonous so yeah never particularly like Fandral.
If he is clashing openly with the established power couple, even if one of them is asleep, its a pretty clear sign heās being set up for conflict if not outright revolution.
Again, I never denied the opposing sides. And fictional characters can disagree without one side becoming villains.
Darkshore was a horrible meatgrinder for the forsaken. The forsaken fought this line and as we knowā¦it mutate in a meatgrinder in a short amount of time.
Its kinda ironic, the last intact and not badly hitten army is the black moon army
Always seemed pretty obvious to me that Fandral was going to be evil, just saying.
Can you stop. I literally just posted proof he was always described as being antagonistic, thatās usually all it takes to be villain batted in WoW. Iām starting to think you just think anyone who proves you wrong is a contrarian and you donāt actually know what that word means.
Darkshore was just a garrison. Highest rank present was Death Stalker Commander. Not even considered significant enough for an Executor(lowest ranking officer in forsaken bureacracy) to be present.
I donāt talk about big commanders of the forsaken. I spoke about their army. The forsaken army/their remaining troops after sol fought here
Wrong.
For a significant portion of the forsaken army to be present would require at least a token showing of the their command structure. There is literally no one. Two recently converted nightelves.
Nathanos frigging Blightcaller was commanding Forsaken forces there.
Nathanos had actually left. There is a voice over for rule of cool but no Nathanos and no Forsaken officer.
Zerde: if i pretend that the horde didnāt have less land than the Alliance in vanilla, I can skirt around Cataclysm removing Alliance lands to give the Horde a fair and balanced number of them.
I donāt know why I bother clicking on your posts.
