He’s been super-visible in the media which is great for him. He was referenced several times in an article published yesterday in the investor’s magazine Seeking Alpha:

Article was pretty critical of ATVI’s new focus away from customer service in their last round of layoffs.

Yeah I listened to some of that on my way to work


Notable early thing was basically that he knew internally about classic 7 months before blizzcon, and he -speculates–(makes it clear he has no way of knowing definitely) that they’d already been working on it for a year before that. The classic cast people point out that times up with Nostralius getting shut down, and would have been a few months before bringing the nostralius crew in to Blizzard for that meeting they had. Pretty interesting to think it’s been that long of a project.

Can’t comment beyond the early part however, since I won’t have time to listen to more.

How can we listen to this without streaming Youtube while driving down the road? I’ve checked Podcasts on Apple and Spotify. Does anyone know a location I can download this audio?

Get the youtube app and download it? I’m not sure if you need youtube red or not. Or do as the post below says.

Download the video as an MP3 using one of the various sites that allow you to do so. That’s what I do with Critical Role episodes.

Thank you! I’ve never done this before so i’ll have to check it out when I get home from work. Just seems strange that he doesn’t upload his podcasts onto another media source other than Youtube.

I don’t want to post any links to these sites as they may or may not be safe. But if you google youtube to mp3 converter you will find sites that you can copy paste a youtube video url into and it will pop out an mp3 for download.

I don’t know about everyone else but I would love to see Ythisens working at Blizzard again one day. He is the kind of person we need working on our games.

They said at a Blizzcon interview that Classic’s ‘development’ started roughly 2 years earlier, so November 2016ish.

You can also use the Twitch app to stream it from EstfandTV’s page.
Once you get to his page, go under “Videos” and it should be available to play on-demand.

The Twitch app has setting to stream audio only, and is super helpful for not burning up all your data ha-ha

Kind of wish they had edited all of their own commentary out and simply had the Q&A with Ythisens.

esfand did a solo interview with him last week that was good. alot more emotional than the classicast interview though.

While I enjoyed the video I agree that the random chatter did make it a bit too long, and hard to get through to the meaty bits.
