You might want to download the code and read it over before replying with your “definitive” answers.
People without that add-on will NOT be able to see any custom group lists.

This addon isnt going to last a week. Count on it.
Blizzard won’t ban it, many will use it, and eventually as more and more pick up on it, you will too. LFG will be a must for classic.
You need to stop spamming this. You sound worried.
Spamming? I put in both the LFG posts, Worried? Im not in the slightest, but it seems from the THOUSANDS of posts others are.
Reading comprehension is not your forte.
So really, your only argument here is that everybody abandons the chat channel in favour of the addon, leaving the small number people who don’t want to use it out in the cold?
Again, I think you’re grossly mistaken about the eventual outcome, but even to explore this ultimate scenario I think you should really ask yourself why people would do this in the first place? Given that people are fundamentally lazy and many can’t be bothered to get an add-on in the first place, what are some factors that you think might cause people to get off their virtual butts and go download it?
You posted it three times in three minutes, and several other times.
One specificly ASKED for the link.
You are aware my posts can be, in your case, counted, right? I know counting is hard.
Point made.
You sound uncomfortable and Im sorry for that, try and relax.
gonna answer your question with another question, when was the last time you saw somebody looking for more people, in the global/trade or whatever chat in current wow
I asked you first
the answer is in my question
The addon takes 5 seconds to find on google, and 1 minute to place into the addon folder. When you realize you can’t find groups the old way you will seek it out, just like many did for gearscore in wrath. LFG will be popular and will phase out the archaic ask in chat method, get over it, we’re not in 2006 anymore.
what if your kids wanted to use it? or if your wife starts using it
can i have my gold from retail then ? only few milion gold wont hurt any1 ^^
Is it though? I suggest trying to sit down and really think about what would drive the lazy majority to go get the addon. If you feel the chat method of finding groups is good enough, what do you think would cause people to change?
Your cause and effect are cyclic. People won’t be able to find groups without the addon, so they will go get the addon. But why can’t people find groups in the first place? Because everybody else has the add on! Why did those people get the add on? Because they couldn’t find groups!
Day one will hit and very few people will have the add on. Most people will use the chat channel, just like they did in Vanilla, and be fine. Humans are lazy and we don’t like change. Something has to happen to force us enough to actually engage in change.
About the only reason I can think of right now that would drive people towards such a change would be a lot of non-LFG related chat in the LFG channel. When I’m looking for a group, I want to find a group. If LFG becomes the new barrens chat, I’m going to be annoyed. That would certainly drive me to go and get the addon so I could filter out all that stuff. This was happening during the pre-launch test… but was manageable because there just wasn’t that many people playing.
Anyway, that’s one reason. Can you think of others?
I am not worrying because I believe this addon as well as others will be banned. Plus, plenty of people will not be using such an addon even if it existed. So you can find a group the correct way if you want to.
i guess you haven’t read my msgs ^^
I’m not worried, the people who will use this addon will stop playing in a week.
Don’t use it.
This is a tough one, usually typing /2 need tank heals for deadmines, pat.
