Forced name changes

Can anyone tell me why the guild named, “I got my horde on” has been allowed to stand for over 5 years? With the new added community hookup you can have discussions with all sorts of players from any number of servers. Turns out that several hundred people have complained about that guild name and the Gm staff simply refuses to do like they do to everyone else and make them change it to something not sexually suggestive.

I thought there might be a reason for it.

Why has “I got my horde on” been allowed to keep that sexually suggestive name while anyone else who has a name even remotely similar gets banned or forced to change their names?

Thanks.

The CS forum isn’t a place for a topic like this, given the fact the blues here ain’t able to give info about 3rd parties. More to the fact, if you feel a name is against the rules, it’s best to report it in game, the CS forum isn’t for reports.

I think his point is that he has already reported it and was wondering why there has been no action taken. I can only speculate, but it was probably reviewed and deemed acceptable. I’d view that name as a play on “Got my Drink on” and wouldn’t think it was inappropriate. On the other hand (to your sexually explicit interpretation), if the name were (and apologies for the innuendo), “Raging Horde On”, that would absolutely be inappropriate and would quite likely garner a forced name change.

I already pointed that out. The blues here ain’t able to talk about actions given to 3rd parties, and will tell folks to report it.

I get that. I was simply trying to explain to him why that particular guild name might remain unchanged despite being reported. A Blue may not be able to do that, but certainly I can offer an opinion.

Because some names are borderline, and it’s at our discretion.
