The people youd want to pay attention to and be mindful of such a statement are, by and large, so far beyond saving that theyll justify and rationalize their behavior infinitely. Never much cared whether a post is trolling. I’m far more interested in refuting bad argumentation, education, and frankly just hearing myself talk.
He must have gotten a warning during his last forced vacation about keeping his thoughts to a single thread. Because before that giant thread that’s still running would have been turned into 10-20 new threads long before it reached where it is now. Keeping him to a single thread has at least helped spare us from him and his sock puppets.
To your original point, I admit even I trip up and occasionally respond before I remember who I am talking to. It would be nice if we could all refrain from giving him the attention he so desperately craves, but at this point, the only thing that’s going to work is his permanent removal from the forums.
