seems team red is doing might fine even though they only had instant bg queues for a few days. if your argument is you’re a random bg hero and it feels bad that’s fine and i can respect that. but if you’re trying to say lack of bg gear is keeping you from doing well in ARENA that is patently false.

PVE gear is perfectly good in phase one. Also, some specs are going to over perform while people have little res gear. Specifically classes like enhance shaman who become worst once people get res.
yes and people could do arena to get arena gear and not fall behind. if people are wasting hours waiting for bgs instead of queueing for arena which will give them the gear they actually need.
Don’t forget BM hunters. They roll people currently until gear catches up.
that’s not what all the cryers round here have been saying lol

i didn’t realize ironforge had an arena section until a bit ago. interesting. very very interesting indeed.
Tried to tell em that, but they don’t want to hear it because their guide told them to get Blue PVP set.

Haha so true.
The whole Horde complaint about queue time is just bads thinking if they get their blue set they will magically go Glad.

I just started my PvP grind. I’m doing both arenas and BGs. Got my first 10 games in yesterday (I don’t think I did more than 10 arena matches ever before…) Just makes sense to start getting points, even if I suck.

It’s almost like tier and kara epics will work fine for elusive DPS classes (mages, rogues) but it’s significantly harder for things that can’t zerk burst people down. There’s a huge abundance of enh shaman, BM hunters and etc all doing quite well this season because so few people have resil…
if you spend time to get arena gear with more resil sooner you’ll get it before you get hand slapped by needing it, and not having it.

I don’t think most people honestly believe that no pvp gear vs blue set/offset epics is gonna be the difference between 1100 and glad. On that same vein though having 300+ resilience gives healers a SIGNIFICANT advantage against teams that rely solely on a huge dps steroid in a short window. Resilience is the stat that weeds out gib teams with BM hunters, enh shaman, pom pyro mages, feral druids, etc.
well now’s the time to do arena and get that PvP gear. you know, instead of HvH BGs
But that means they will have to git gud.

as someone who has played an orc for years, resisting a stun has never ever catapulted me into glad range. RIP me.

No, but you orcs have been a source of my rage for the past 2 years.
mine too, for much longer. i actually want to main ally in retail (mostly dwarves, now kt) but the wife is like ZUG ZUG, LOKTAR OGAR, FER DE HERD. sigh.
Now you have to go Alliance so you can gank her in WPVP.

This is probably the most disingenuous thread on this topic I’ve encountered. You all act like the arena meta is going to be the same from one week to the next, and that every team is gong to perform like the top 10% do. If blizz intended for pve gear to be the standard in arena they never would of made resilience in the first place.
But I get it, you are all mad because at some point in the past a horde player stuffed you in a locker and took your sweet roll.
Thanks for admitting it. Now we have proof of why you are so biased on this topic.
