The funniest thing JUST happened :rofl: So I am writing this while I kick back and enjoy a 30 minute debuff. A sad but well earned Debuff. So, allow me to say the funniest and most NOOB thing I have done in nearly TWO decades.

So there I was, finishing story time at the event, and my Classic TW queue pops. So I am grooving on my new Velf Hunter, just chillin. Got my cat from Ghostlands, my bow from Legion… lookin oh, so spiffy! DireMaul pops. SWEET! This should be tons of XP.

I load in and the Shaman says, “We wiped, but all we need now is to talk to (insert name of giant tree dude)!” and I watch everyone hop over the edge. Well I am super excited to try the “Disengage” trick that keeps you from falling to your death. SO I jump! I hit the ground, look around and instantly realize it…

OMG… pets did not just respawn in Classic! :astonished:

So I watched my pet die, and then rezzed him. Then, the Shaman remembers they never killed the water elemental, so we run back in for that. Halfway into the fight, like 53 mobs come PILING into the pool, and I instantly Feign Death. Not like I could rezz anyone, but who the hell wants to run back? :rofl:

I was THAT hunter that destroyed a whole team. No sooner did the Shammy ask who did it, then I was removed from group, back in Tanaris, and now staring at the remaining 23 minutes on my debuff.

I know it is a kickable offense, cause everyone is just so angry these days, but when I did this in LBRS back in 2007, we all laughed when we jumped down to get the quest from Bijou the goblin (who no longer gives a quest) and my then wolf brought 19 trolls, 15 orcs, and at least 5 trolls in on top of us.

So, I am not mad about the kick, or the debuff. By today’s rules “I had it coming” :rofl: I just miss my friends of old who would have laughed and absolutely given me a rash of crap for that noob move. So, good news… I am relearning to play a hunter lol. Just wanted to share the funniest thing I have done in forever.

That happened recently as well and I was hollering. I love silly stuff happening in dungeons, especially when its accidental so you know there was no ill intention. But i can understand why ppl will get annoyed :joy:

Oh I 100% owned it and didn’t even have time to say “My bad” before they kicked me HAHA… it was so bad… I should not be playing a “Classic” hunter while sleepy :rofl:

I had just rolled her, mogged her, and got my cat from Ghostlands before queuing in. I was so stoked to try hunter again and was INSTANTLY the bozo that forgets to dismiss before jumping haha

My very first dungeon and my friend and I were clueless and became overwhelmed by mobs on narrow incline.
I panicked and threw down an explosive trap that knocked all of them off the ledge. We were praising each other on how we handled it and how cool that was……

And then they came back

And brought all their friends

It was a very quick death. lol.

The moment you said “…on my Hunter”, I already knew what was going down.

A. Disengage pulled adds.
or
B. Falling down and pet ran to eventually pull everything that wasn’t touched.
or
C. Kicked anyway by default even though it wasn’t your fault.

Poor Hunters. Always the resident punching bag…

Let me tell you my stupidity story.

I was on my max-level druid. My sister had a low level toon that I was flying about on my Sandstone drake. This was back when they first hard sharding, and every time you crossed into a new zone there was a chance you would lose your mount. Well, we crossed into a new zone, and sure enough, I lost my drake form. My sister got a parachute. Meanwhile, I fell. And fell. And fell. We were pretty high up. Then I splatted. Dead. ON A DRUID. :rofl:

My only excuse is this is my main, and hunters can’t insta-change into flight form.

I’m by no means old school, but I was trying out my hunter in Gnomer years ago for my pet to aggro the whole place after jumping down the big center area

I wasn’t kicked, but needless to say I go alone in dungeons as Hunter. That and growl

I can PROMISE this was all my fault, and they had every right to boot my booty. Pet pulled 3 full rooms before it died LOL
