Hey guys, After trying to get the achievement done a few times with different alts, the groups I run with tend to disband because the leads don’t know what to do, so I’ve decided I’m going to form groups myself to get the achievement done and I’d appreciate it if anyone could answer my questions so that I am better prepared when making my group. Thanks in advance for any answers provided.
Q1. To my knowledge, we need two different raid with 39 players each to take down the faction leaders (raid 1 and raid 2)(total of 78 players) is this really the case? Or is it that there is one raid and you swap a person between raid groups similarly to how you used to swap shaman for lust or spriest for mana?
Q2. Can anyone be swapped between groups? Or does it have to be the main tank?
Q3. What’s the best route to take for each faction?
Not on Benediction where there are next to no horde.
My guild 23 manned it on Faerlina (ally leaders but it shouldn’t be much different?) although that took awhile per boss due to people not being able to hit.
40 would be “safer” with pugs.
On servers like Grobbulus, more groups would be better because you’ll actually get PVP.
So the group swap things I’m not sure of the answer to, but usually if a mob is grey and you aren’t in the group you don’t get credit.
The Route could be TB > Origrimmar > Undercity > Silvermoon for allies.
Ironforge > Stormwind > Darnassus > Exodar for horde.
Really it doesn’t matter though.
Keep in mind at the most moment max llvl is 70 but the faction leaders are tuned for 80 (to say nothing of the lvl 75 guards… I’m just gonna wait on that achievement
be aware there is a bug with thrall, and also many healers have been cheated of the achievement (myself included) by the boss kill not being counted…this happens hordeside and allyside—and bliz is not at all helpful, you get some automated bs and nothing is fixed. there is another post from a week ago (as of 9/22/2022) referencing the same problem!!! customer service went away when they fired all the gamemasters we USED to have.
