Can anyone confirm how this will work?
You’ll be able to download the client once your account has been flagged for access.
Epic edition owners should be receiving that access almost immediately, so you should be able to download it on Wednesday after it goes live.

beta goes live on 5th so acess will be when advertised tho i expect long que times to log in.

I mean - it seems like it would be conducive to not force thousands of people to download the game at the same time right?
I don’t even have it on my launcher yet. Surely they aren’t just giving access to the downloader on the 5th?
They do patches for everyone at the same time, so ptr, beta downloads should be fine.
When your access is granted, it will appear in the drop down box above the play button. Just look for it, and download when able. It probably won’t just update automatically though.

Alright thanks for replying. I noticed that the Beta wasn’t on the drop down and i was concerned maybe it didn’t provision right. I will just wait and if not here on the 5th hope there is a process to fix it Lol
It will show up on the 5th theres no reason to doubt it wont.

Same here, it hasn’t shown in my drop down box either but I am assuming it will appear on the 5th.
I guess when they say the 5th, it means the US 5th. so we might see it appear about 3pm in Australia.

I’ve poked around a bit and I’ve yet to see a specific time that release should occur.
Pure conjecture on my part? I would start checking around the time of the daily reset. But hopefully there will be an official Blue post between now and then - or at the absolute worst, a post right when the Beta opens the floodgates.

Its Wednesday now and there was an update but still no beta access yet. Guess its not the 5th in the US yet? Its 18:33 here (Aus).
When is that?
Our daily reset was 15+ hours ago.
Was asleep then. So beta should be available for me? But its not.
AU is still part of the NA region, so times are based on PST.
You may need to log out of the launcher and back in for access to show.
Reset for the Americas region would have been about 1:45:00 ago from this timestamp.
11 am EDT.
Don’t forget about “When it goes live!” Heh heh. That was fun. I think that was for Beta access to Pandaclysm if you committed to the 12 months of sub time or something. Anyway, enjoy the Beta and have fun!
Bought it back in November… Still waiting for the option to install on my launcher.
Tried logging out and into Battle net and reinstalled launcher. Nothing yet.
Update: Logged out and in again a couple times and it popped up. Good luck to others!

Same here, no option in my launcher, no “in development” option and no “tww” option under the no “in development” section
