In 10-15 mans there would be no popular consensus on what to blacklist so i hardly see it effecting queues.

Epics theres just not enough maps for a blacklist.

I disagree, given how many threads about Seething Shore exist on this forum, closely followed by ToK. Before Alliance were forced to blacklist the 40-mans, they blacklisted SSM and Gilneas.

Blacklisting was seldom used for its intended purpose of “I dislike this bg” and was instead “oh we lose this a lot, I’ll avoid it altogether”. That would happen again.

I don’t know why they removed blacklisting. I never saw anything from Blizzard on why it was removed. Just spitballing.

I personally kept Strand on perma-blacklist and the second one was SSM more often than not.

It probably did increase que times… Really couldn’t have been as much as some people on here are claiming because I had no problems and I probably played that expansion the most. Both factions.

Also I’m 100% sure some of the reason is they saw some were banning epics. So hence they separated the ques so maybe they felt like it wasn’t needed?

Still I’d love some choice back… Choice feels good…

I would assume it does have some impact on queue times and I understand that adding a blacklist in epics would be devastating with only 3 bgs. I just miss the days of not having to play SSM. :wink:
