Idk how max level PvP works but this is gonna make hunters more terrifying in the twink bracket and they’re already absolute insanity there.

I used to play PvP. I was the bait dwarf. They’d throw me out amongst the champions and they’d beat up on me to hone their skills.

They are already top damage in PVP (BGs) at least…
I mean, its comical the damage differences right now before this disaster happens, you already have Hunters finishing BGs with 65m Damage and the closest person to them is a Lock or DH with 35m.
Is that real?? At first glance it looks like an out-of-season April fools joke

Imagine being a DH and maxing out conquest and honor every week and having the highest possible pvp gear, most of your opponents wont so you mow through them like a lawnmower over a carton of eggs, happened today in a BG I was in and I’m sure it was fun, just not for me, I was one of the eggs.

Not true. They care so much that they put twinks into their own brackets and also began to nerf all gear after xpacs ended and also now remove all set bonus after the expac they were in end and remove all effects from legendary gear as soon as an expac that had them in ends.

I think it’s because blizz doesn’t really understand or play their own game when it comes to PvP and they look at only one specific game mode (arena) and can only think to throw damage buffs at their favored ‘underperformer’ while ignoring the impact on other modes.

knowledgeable players that take that knowledge to the lowest pvp bracket where they can dunk on newbs with their gear that no newb in that bracket would ever have.
Its the equivalent of a full grown adult wrestler beating up children. they deserve all the scorn

When participation in PVP is very low then blizzard has to do something very drastic to make some players say “I gotta see this for myself.”
PVP is just one big game of oneupmanship, before it was warlocks and mages with their zoning who ruled the land for the last couple of months. So blizzard wanted to bring mages and warlocks couple of notches down so they buffed one of the few class that can keep up with that zoning. Why didn’t they buff windwalkers is beyond me.
Yes and yet the same people who say what you are saying ruined my Korracks revenge on my alt toons who ran through and had to face a bunch of max geared level 70s on my level 61 that I was trying to level and do the BG for the holiday in DF. Blizz ended the event way early this time because of that. Twinks still exist. I cant even do PvP quests in Classic on my low level toon because it is all a bunch of level 19s who cant get a title at level 60.
Blizz needs to stop allowing max level toons to be able to queue up in BGs at any level like they can now. How is that not also twinking in a way when you have a level 70 in full end game epics and you are up against a bunch of people on their alts in crappy gear or up against new and returning players? Level 70s should only ever be able to queue up with level 70s. They only do it that way in BGs cuz they know that if they tried that in open world, most of us here would smash them when it is 70 vs 70. They kept wrecking my sham in green gears and I was all like okay… done with this event. Level 70 vs a level 61 in mostly greens who is an alt of mine that I barely play.
Have bgs be the old way they used to be, no reason why anyone should be able to come into a lower level BG on their main and do this.
Like in Shadowlands this was 10x worse cuz people with maxed out Covenents would wreck the lowbies when they went into the BG.
Gotta fix PvP all across the board. Bring back the old MMR/CR ranking system an arena teams. We now have people pushing 4,000+ rating in WoTLK because of the changes that Blizzard has made. No teams makes boosting 10x easier as any booster can queue up with any player at all, don’t even need a matching CR now. No teams, so you want a boost, ask for it and some player who is 3k+ rated will queue up with you, your ratings get auto boosted up super high that way. Teams ensured people were locked in with a set group of players. And towards end of season, you couldn’t even switch out and start anew.
And then people claimed that 5s were removed because that was the main boosting bracket? No it wasnt. 2s are for gear and then you go up into 3s. Arena boosting still exists today in retail even with 5s removed but now it is 10x easier to do.
